  1. Hello sir, I was using Hyperworks student edition from Feb 2018 and it was working perfectly fine. But from last few days its showing Error 9 while launching. I have gone through this forum and also checked the license file extension it looks okay. The confusing thing is that in the license file Ethernet Id written is F430B98E1CAA. while by ipconfig/all, I couldn't find any host id which is written in the license file. Is it possible that ETHERNET HOST ID changes over time without changing any hardware of the ps, because it was working fine before with the same file in the same pc? Also attached the license file and ipconfig text file with this. Please help me.... ipconfig_all.TXT altair_lic.dat
  2. Hello, I've recently installed Hyperworks onto my Macbook Pro 2017, using the bootcamp partition I created in order to run Windows 10. Before the installation of the program I was asked to insert my Ethernet Host ID. The program you provided in order to get the right ID didn't work for my case hence I entered the LAN wireless connection to the local network ID found using the ipconfig -all command (the one in the red box). The licence is not working and no Ethernet adapter is present on my machine. What can I do to obtain a valid licence? Thank you, Glauco.

    License issue n°9

Hello, When I sign up to have a student license I should add my WIFI host ID (because my physical host ID is only 0000000000E0 and it was not accepted by Altair). I received a license file with the host ID of home's WIFI. When I install the software and copy/paste the license file I have this issue (first picture). Now, I'm with another Wifi, not home's WIFI. I give you the ipconfig /all.

    Optistruct run remote command

Hello ! I have a little problem to run an optistruct command on a remote computer. I am on a Windows 2012 Server and I have created a local user to run commands I launch with a SSH Client. When I am logged on the server with this user, the command works and the analysis is completed without any error. However, when I try to launch the same command with my SSH Client, I get an error I tried to set manually the env. variable : ALTAIR_LICENCE_PATH or even to unset TZ before to run my command without success... Have you an idea about this problem ? I don't understand why the command works when I'm logged on the server but not when I launch it with my SSH client with the same user... Thanks, Maxime
  5. Is there a way to deactivate my licence on my desktop and re-install it on my mobile computer? I just downloaded Solid-thinking 2015, I am having a hard time deciding which computer i want to install it to; my tablet laptop which is very mobile, or my desktop computer which has a lot of power and great graphics card.
