  1. I apologize if I am not posting this in the correct forum but I am having a problem when I am meshing a geometry in Acuconsole using AcuMeshSim. I am getting this warning message for my mesh settings. acuMeshSim: <SIMM_WRN_MSG>:Circumsphere with <= 0 height Although this is actually just a warning message but my mesh process always gives an error later and thus I think this might be related to the failure. I would like to know what might be causing this and which setting should I change to get rid of this warning/error? Thanks in advance.
  2. When Hyperstudy is invoked from within Hypermesh (CFD Acusolve profile), in the option window that opens, in the dropdown for the response parameters, I can see only pressure as the option. How can I use a different response parameter? For instance, if I am trying to optimize the mass flow rate, my response parameter should be mass flux. Am I right? Can this reponse parameter be changed later in Hyperstudy? Also, assuming if I did a preliminary setup in Hypermesh but I want to use a different INP file than what the Hypermesh setup is, is it possible to do that?
  3. I have a fieldview output file which I want to export to a format readble in Radtherm (temperature mapping software). Can somebody advice me if it is possible and if yes, how to do it? Thanks in advance!
  4. Thank you Prakash, That procedure is what I was looking for
  5. Hi Prakash, I have gone through the help topic regarding this, and I know about the application of the refinement box. I can create a refinement box however, I cannot figure out how to get a fine mesh in the region specified by the box. Can you help me with that?
  6. Hi, In the CFD Tetramesh panel in Hypermesh, there is an option called Refinement Box. I have been trying to figure out how it works but so far have been unsuccesful. Can somebody guide me about the same, or point me to a tutorial regarding this? Thanks!
  7. Hi, I need a little guidance on how to use the 'Restart' option in Acusolve. I have a setup running with constant density air model (temperaure equation disabled) on a cluster server, and I want to use this solution to start a run with the air model switched to ideal gas and temperature equation enabled. Thanks in advance for any help. Prashant
