  7. Hi, I'm working on a shape optimization of a tube and I want to create a Morph constraint (2D continuous tangency). I'm getting the error, which you can see in the picture resulting in Hypermesh crashing. What am I doing wrong?
  8. Hi, I'm currently working on a shape optimization for a tube. As I want to create the necessary shapes, I'm getting across some problems. I added the file for more visibility. 1. Is there any function to smooth my mesh after morphing? The stress concentration in the "edgy" parts of the mesh is very high. 2. Currently I'm morphing my mesh with "scale" for peripherally located handles. I want to keep the same perimeter as the original tube for manufacturing reasons.. Is there a better way?   9. Hi, im currently working on a project with Hypermesh and need to borrow some licenses over the weekend, since i won't be around LAN or WLAN. Edit: Just another question: A friend of mine told me, that he created a 2d mesh at first and made a 3d mesh out of that existing 2d mesh. Is that possible? Sadly, he's not in town, so he can't show me the exact way.

  12. Hi, I would like to analyse the wing the aerodynamic device of our formula student car. Since we're using a foam as a solid core for the whole wing, I would like to mesh the foam as 3d elements and connect them with our 2d (Carbon Fibre) Elements. I'm looking for an easy way to connect those elements to get sufficient analysis results. Thank you very much for the help.
  13. Hi, my name ist Matthias. I have a problem with my current analysis of a formula student monocoque. The analysis is running at the moment, but the results aren't right. I think there are some problems with the constrains but I can't figure out, which exact problems are the reason. Would you might be able to look over it and give me a hint, whats wrong? I'm aiming to figure out my torsional stiffness with this analysis.
