  2. Hi Prakash Pagadala, it seems to be all right with my parameters and settings. I already shared the model with my professor, consequently with Altair technical support. So model is shared with developer, we still wait for an answer. Anyway thanks.
  3. Hi Prakash Pagadala, if i fix it to the target body, the marker will not move "relative" to the target because it's fixed to it. It will behave (move) like its a fixed part of the target body. I think Altair has to improve the definition of markers, because in my opinion it's elementary to have a marker which is translational fixed to a body and the orientation is given by another body. If you havent got any other idea, nevertheless thank you.

  5. Hi, i tried this before, but in the animation the marker does not follow the point i choose. Is this happening because the point does not refer to a body? Do i have to choose something other than a Point (defined by coordinates)?

  7. Hi, i want to create a marker in MotionView/MotionSolve which origin stays at fix coordinates (parent body is ground with coordinates 0,0,0) and orientates its z-axis to a moving point (of a body). Thanks for replying.

  9. Hi everyone, i simulate vibrations of rotating systems. Therefore i start to build a model with only a vertical straight shaft with an unbalance (rigid body) on top. I simulate with a constant rotational acceleration up to 8500 1/min. Even with gravity the shaft is elongating along z-axis with more than 10% strain. Hourglass is already prevented.Any idea? Thanks in advance.

  14. Hi, does MotionSolve respect gyroscopic effect/terms? I need to simulate rotating systems, therefore i need to know how gyroscopic effects are considered. By the way, in the online documentation there is nothing about it, except for OptiStruct. There's the keyword/option RGYRO for gyroscopic effects. Thanks in advance.
