  2. Hi, I was wondering is there a more efficient way to simulate an insulated antenna in FEKO, a media wire coated with dielectric sheath as shown in the figure below. Currently, I perform the simulation by creating a dielectric cylinder and metal wire geometry and meshing them with triangles and segments. But it produces so many triangles, and the efficiency is quite low. Can I use the cable modeling features in FEKO to do the same thing? Thank you.

  5. It can be done in WallMan. Open WallMan -> file -> convert Urban database ->vector database-> select osm file

  8. Hi, I imported a cad file in hypermesh, and i want to modify the coordinates of some point of the geometry before meshing. Does any know how to view the coordinates and modify them in hypermesh ? Tks Cris

  10. Dear John, Thanks. By looking at the out file, i can find the corrdinates for each corner of a triangle, However, something is strange when it comes to the OS file. As you can see from the out file, the second corner of trinagle 1 is also the second corner of triangle 2, but in the OS file , the electric current density at corner 2 of triangle1 and 2 are different. This doesn't make sense to me, they are at the same position, so their current density should be the same.   12. Dear all, does any know what types of integral equation FEKO use for dielectric objects. PMCHW? and what it use when it perform Character mode analysis? It seem FEKO use EFIE for CMA and CFIE for normal simulations when simulation PECs. Cheers.
