  3. i am facing the same problem.. neither i am getting the failure index values (plot is zero for all values) and SR.. i tried to input the CFAILURE in deck as you have shown above.. I am unable to get the FI and SR.. kindly help me with this error message when i import solver deck: Warning: Unsupported cards found in the I/O options section have been written as unsupported control card.   9. dear all i want to generate a tetramesh for the model i have attached.. but when i enter tetramesh panel these lines are getting highlighted.. and i have removed all the free edges from my geometry.. how to troubleshoot these? side_analysis.hm

  11. sir i want to apply load along the axis of lug..if i apply on the midnode on either side as i have applied above.. does it make a proper simulation i am asking u?
  12. dear sir i have a geometry of lug as shown in figure.. i want to apply force and moments along the axis of lug..so i divided the load by 2..applied it on both sides as shown in below pic..whether what i have done is right way to do it? dragstrut.hm
  13. what is the dof for CBUSH elements? If i want to create a pin joint ain which i want to constraint all dof except one rotation..what dof i must select while creating zero length CBUSH element among 1-6 dof??

  17. and as i heard 3D elements will not be having Rotational DOF i.e 4,5 and 6.. is it so?
  18. dear all, i have meshed a model with tetraelements and i want to constrain a structure at 3 top points where i want to have a pin joint.. i have created it as follows i created a rbe2 in the hole surface and at mid node i have applied constraint.. i.e i want to have a rotation along Y-axis here so i have constrained all five dof except 5.. and i am attaching my HM file with this kindly let me know whether what i have done is right or wrong? if it is wrong kindly let me know what is the right way to do it..   20. got the solution.. actually i hadn't created a separate component while meshing..
  21. i have a created a R triamesh on a component and converted it into tetramesh..but while checking element i am getting a error as in attached in picture.. mesh.hm
  22. thats nice sir..but i am doing it in v11.. for the procedure u shown if i give pin a=4 while creating 1d bar will it behave like a pin joint?
