  2. Hi @Prakash Pagadala , The scripts you have suggested the first one worked to created loadsteps for each loadcases. I can use that when I have to create multiple loadsteps. but the 2nd one isnt working when i used the scaling factor 2 after selecting all the loads. it just saying scaling , no changes after that .Is there any other method other than scripts ? or I have to go only with the scripts. For instance let me take 20 load cases I want to give the initial load as 1000 N ( after calculating Fx,Fy and Fz) I have to get the corresponding loads at regular 20 degree intervals with less force. I dont know if it is possible as I have mentioned my problem above. but just waiting to know if there could be anything so that I can use that method for more number of load cases.   4. Hallo, I am having a model of bicycle pedal crank in which I want to apply loads on the pedal ( on the created node). If we take the pedal goes 360degree I want to split the 360 into some lets take 18 steps so I have to create 20 load cases. I considered when the pedal is at top as Top dead center ( TDC) and when it is at bottom Bottom dead center (BDC). The load which i apply on the tdc is high and when it goes bdc it gets reduce and again to complete one cycle the load goes load just like the real case of pedaling the cycle. I can manually calculate each load case Fx,Fy and Fz component and give accordingly for 20 steps. My question : Is there any other way that giving initial load that is load at TDC Fx,Fy and Fz value and the next consecutive load cases for the next 20 degree, then 40 degree and so on the value has to decrease ? , Because for 20 steps we can calculate what if there is a component with 1000 loadsteps. the values of Fx,Fy and Fz cant be calculated manually it will make the person frustrated. So there has to be a way as a factor ( with this initial factor the consecutive load has to change either decrese or increase). Is there a way to give a initial factor or way to implement all other corresponding loads ? It would be much appreiciated if I get any positive response . I have attached a sample pic of my model with just 4 load cases with certain angle apart. It was easy to do by calcualting Fx,Fy and Fz values. But if i want to implement more loads by dividing 360 by so and so ... Thanks in advance for the response. Kind Regards, Muthu,.

Hi Everyone, I am working with Optistruct for my Linear/Static Analysis, I am doing Topology Optimization in my model but before I wanted to check whether my model is working regarding with displacement or stress result for my BCs. but after analysis result it shows nothing every displacement result is zero and no change. Can anyone take a look into my model whats wrong or what change I have to make. I used Hex mesh, with 4 Loadcases and one constraint. I have attached my model for the expect reference. Hi Everyone , I have a question , How can I create a rigid plate as bottom (all dof locked) and rigid plate as top to apply force (all dof locked, except vertical translation) in a simple cubic model (Say 10mm x 10mm x 10mm). Should I just constraint bottom surface to ( all dof locked ) and top surface to ( all except vertical ) and apply force on all nodes on the top surface ? how i can do this rigid plate thing on my model , can anyone help me ? thanks in advance .   10. @Prakash Pagadala Hi Mr.Prakash, As you said I have tried advance boolean operations to combine ( I selected A^B - Del common parts in between) with that I have combine each single unit cells in to one another. But when i simulate it says I am getting ''CTETRA element 4821 is distorted (zero or negative Jacobian)'' , But only when I use boolean operations this error comes, if I dont use then for result it takes only the unit cell which we applied the force like the way I told before with pictures. Is there any other way to solve this issue. Because I have to do linear analysis with whole component as 10mm x 10mm x 10mm the lattice beam which i showed is just 1 row in the whole component. So this problem has to be gone in order to proceed further. Anticipating you response .Thanks Kind Regards, Muthu.
  11. @Prakash Pagadala Sorry, In this model I chose element size as 0.5 in this model(I am sure), not exceeding 1 since I know the length of the side is 1. But how I can able to combine each unit cells into single combined structure to apply loads. Kind Regards, Muthu

Hi @Prakash Pagadala , Thanks for your reply , Yes this sounds good that I have to combine all the unit cell into a single structure ( like the way we applied loads for solid structure) But I have tried Geometry-> Solid Edit -> Boolean ( Union A+B) to combine each unit cell to single component , this didnt work (this leads to get me the zero volume element error ). Could you help me how I can able to combine those single unit cells into a complete structure so that I can apply the loads to transfer to the rest of the structure.   13. @Prakash Pagadala Hi Prakash that issue is solved and also the simulation is working but in Hyperview for my loadcase it consider only on that unitcell in which i applied. It is not considering like whole model. Should I have to combine all the induvidual unitcells ? How can I resolve this problem i attached hm file of lattice model and both of the picture. First one has the error and like 2nd picture I have to simulate which is solid beam where both ends are constrained .
