i would like to know if there is a way to position elements to a multiple positions at once. and also if we can split surfaces at multiple positions at once. the tcl that i am building requires this both functions.

Also, could you please answer how to create rigids from the displayed nodes. how does rigid creation work in the coding scenario.? what are the tcl codes?

Hi everyone, Is there any commands or tcl by which we can obtain solidmap between multiple element set at once. Let us suppose we have same set of elements at multiple positions and there is a guiding geometry between them like surface and line. Can we use all elements to create a solidmap at once with the help of guiding geometry?

hi johnson, but the problem is, as soon as i turn off the elements, the nodes dissaper too with elements.

As you suggested i was able to create a sphere with a central node. however, i want to add those nodes in the form of temporary nodes because as soon as i turn of elements, the nodes dissapear too. once i have added the nodes, i want to automate it for n number of nodes. how can i run the process in a loop through a tcl.

Hi guys, I could see that in HM14.0 , there is an option of cavity mesher. Is there any tutorial availbale for generating and modelling cavity using that option?

how to find nearest node in hypermesh. A command or any macro that should search a tolerance of distance like within radius of 30 and then find nodes within that perimeter . lets say, should find nodes adjacent to it.

hi tinh and johson, thank you for your response However, i was more looking at an automated script for internal free edges alone. the script that you refer to is equivalent to the shift+f3 function when performed to the displayed functions. and tinh, intersections sometimes fail to show internal edges bcz, the internal elements may not be connected at all. Is there an more accurate solution. I wish i could show you , how it works in FE Gate, there is a function itself called internal free edges that isolates only free edges within the components excluding the boundary edges. May be my explaination to the question helped you understand my question. thanks again in advance for the answers
9. ## HOW TO FIND INTERNAL FREE EDGES IN HYPERMESH BY MACRO

Hi everyone, I have been trying lately to develop a macro to isolate or show internal free edges in a model. Lets say, i am modelling a surface with free edges, after modelling some components ( say 20-30), i would like to check if there are internal free edges or gaps within element in my models ( pls note, not the outside boundary free edges). There is ofcourse , shift+f3 function to check and it requires observing for ourselves. Is there a macro that can isolate the internal free edges as such. Like in FE Gate software, it shows the internal free edges. is it possible in hypermesh? Thanks for answering in advance.
