1. ## Convergence not reached

Hi everybody, I am simulating a motor in Flux 2D, importing a geometry from Motor-CAD. I did everything correctly, included meshing and assigning the physics, but when I run the simulation the solver doesn't find any convergence at step 3 (see the attached images to view the error message). What can I do to solve the problem? Thanks in advance.
2. ## Coil conductor resistance value

If I put in the electrical field of the non meshed coil the values of resistivity, mass density and fill factor I can show a value changing in the coil conductor of the circuit, is that correct? I'm not sure it is the proper value.

Hi everybody, I have a stranded coil conductor associated with a "non meshed coil". How can I exactly know which is the value of resistance to assign to the stranded coil conductor? Is there any formula to apply in order to know this value? Thank you in advance,

Ok, so I suppose the parameters setted for the periodicity are not correct. How can I modify them? This is a part of an axial flux motor simulated in 2D, so I have really no idea how to fix it.

Hi Federico, I defined the periodicity "Translation along x" and I defined all the lenght of the machine in the x axis.

Hi all, I have a problem solving the project in the image below. It is a machine in which the mechanical set of the green face and the red face is set in "translation along Ox". The surrounding face (the face selected in the image) is air. Now, if the mechanical set of this face is setted "fixed", the following solving error appears: " executeAlgo_c : Execution failed". Instead, if I change the mechanical set into "compressible", the error message is: "Unable to rebuild device because symmetries/periodicities create an infinite geometry". I think I didn't understand completely the meaning of these mechanical sets or I made some errors with the periodicity. What can I do? Thank you everybody.
7. ## Periodicity error

Hi guys, I'm new with Flux and I need a support to help me out from my problem. I am working on my thesis work about a simulation of a reluctance motor but I have some troubles with the physics. I have built the motor geometry with the sketcher and meshed all the domain with aided mesh only; I have imposed the periodicity and infinite box and assigned all the regions to faces. Now I am trying to check the physics but I find this error message: "The lines : 3 60 139 140 146 147 155 158 of the plan of periodicity have no linked discretisation. The mesh periodicity is not assured. The PERIODICITY PeriodicityNumberZaxis can not be taken into account Lines of the constraint without reference line: To obtain the same line mesh on lines, you may use a LINKED MESH_LINE" The mentioned lines are underlined in the attached picture. How can I solve this problem? Thank you in advance.
