  1. Hi Livil, It works. Thanks a lot. Can you tell me what 149 and 150 denotes in your code and where to find the information? It would be helpful. Thanks,
  2. I want to find the master and slave entities of a given contact pair. Assume that the master/slave entity is an element based group (element set). The below API is what I used but its not giving any output. hm_getvalue groups name=contactpair_name dataname=masterentityids Kindly let me know, why this command is not giving the output and also if there is any other way for the above mention requirement.
  3. Hi, I have a list of elements with ids as: set elementlist { {100 101} {1000 1001} {101 100} {1001 1000} } I need to check for duplicate ids within the list. whichever item is existing twice should be written as output. expected output: {100 101} {1000 1001} or {101 100} {1001 1000} Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance!
  4. Hi Vipin, Thanks for the reply! I have came through this "on plane" option. But the problem is I have the input N1, N2, N3 and basepoint only. Can you help me with the codes for extracting base coordinates and vector normals from the input? Thanks!
  5. If N1 is 100(node id)/ N2 is 101(node id)/ N3 is 102(node id).... Basepoint is "userdefined", tolerance 0.1 / normal to plane how to write a code to select a list of nodes falling on the defined vector? Thanks in advance!
  6. Hi Nguyen, Thanks for the reply! Can you help me with the codes for computing vector out of N1, N2, N3 and base point? Thanks!
  7. *createplane plane id normal x normal y normal z base x base y base z I would like to create a plane or vector with node ids as N1, N2, N3 and base point. Thanks in advance!
  8. I need the Tcl- script file for getting standard view for local coordinate system
