  3. When I was use the SPCD to constrain the part's temperature. I want to check about the temperature is correctly or not. Can we show how we constrain the tem at the part?

But when I use Tool→Organize→element by faces it can't let me pick one layer of elements. How can I quickly pick every layer of them and where is my wrong? Really thanks.

I think it will be helpful for other person. And at the last I can finish my model. Really thanks! I think it's have some problem about although it can drag the normal element. We just can drag one layer element at once, I think it will spend every user many times.

  11. I know we can use drag to drag element from x,y or z direction. But can we drag normal direction elements? I have a circle and I want it to plus the diameter, so I need to drag it's normal direction elements. How should I do this. Because I change here, but it can't show what I want.
  12. I know we can check elements in HyperMesh. And we can also see the warpage of elements. But if I just want show warpage elements, how should I do. Because now I just can show the warpage elements with other elements. If I want show only warpage elements, I need to mask other elements in manual. So how can I do. Really thanks. And other question is about can we have other instruction to show the elements not equivalence edges? I know we can use the tool>edges to show elements edge, but sometimes it still have elements not merge.
  13. @Prakash Pagadala Thanks to your reply. So it recommend for 1 because it suggest to maintain our model's unit as the same as the FEA load unit. If our model's unit is as same as the FEA load unit we don't need to change this value. Here I think we need to pay attention about our model about its unit. It should as the same as load. Then I don't need to change the value.

  16. @Rahul R Really Thanks for your apply! So at the future I just set the load collector card's Card Image to TEMPD. Then we can set the temperature value. And just use two loadstep to run the structure with constant temperature. Really thanks.

  21. I am doing the fatigue practice and at my practice file. I don't know what FATLOAD mean exactly. For example if our model today will subject a F=100N At TID I know we need to set the TABLE to input and when I plot the .csv file I seem it look like the Load Time History photo. So it this mean our total time is 2500 sec? And the load have positive and negative for scale 1 and -1? (At here our model will subject 100N & -100N for 2500sec) And the LDM I just can't know about it. Finally what is mean for the SCALE? Because we have load time history we can see our load is for 1 and -1. At here we set 3 so that means out load will scale for 3? (Final it will ill subject 300N & -300N for 2500sec)

I am curious about can we use the TABLE's type to import our material data in fatigue material? Because at the thermal we can do for this. And I also have problem about the FATPARM's instruction of COMBINE what is "SG" mean? Because I have seen it shown like the photo and it also written in SGVON (SG von-Mises)

  25. @Rahul R Thanks to your apply! I have read the tutorial. Because here I think we first do the thermal analysis is about we need to plus the temperature to some value. So we need to use thermal analysis. But today if our temperature is stable. We just set the constant of it like 20°C and maybe don't need to set the loadstep about thermal. Just set the linear or non-linear analysis load step. But now it seems whether if our temperature is stable or needed to plus. It also need to separate of thermal and structure then do the couple of it. Does I describe it right?
