1. ## Parameters

thanks for your answer, i really appreciate your effort and time spend about it. but i read the file, and still have the same doub, ¿where do you get this parameters? where i can find some kind a references of them. because i already ran my simulation and the next step is to fill up the application with the real information.
2. ## Parameters

Hello for everyone, , can someone help me with this particulary question. I´m doing a simulation transient of a the linear motor of permanente magnets, so i saw some tutorials about it. so the particulary question is, when i create mechanical set, i have to fill up some kind of parameters, but i`d like to know something about them, where they came from, how can calculate them. The parameters shows in the file attach, for example; like Viscous friction coefficient. Where can a find some information that allow me calculate them because i need to be accurate wiht this information before get some results. thanks a lot ...

4. ## Question

Hello everyone, my name is Fernando, i want to ask you something about the tutorials that are inside flux software. I have to do, for my master degree research, a transient simualtion with a motor lineal with permanent magnets, and i found two tutorials that maybe serve to me learn, how can i do it, the tutorials are: 1. Line Start permanent Magnet Machine 2. Linear Motor and when i start the tutorial number 1, after to set up the parameters of the motor, and gonna do the step for create the magnet, the tutorial tell: "Load the python file:”create_magnet.py” (project >> command file >> execute in direct mode)" The same thing happens with the tutorial 2, in the part where i have to create a circuit, th tutorial tells: "Load the file: ‘Circuit.xcir" Then the question is, where are this files, because without them i can´t follow the tutorial. I really appreciate, if someone can tell me where i can download them or if somebody has tutorials like those and can share to me. i gonna be very gratefull. thank you for all...

No problem, i really appreciate your help...thank you

Thank you, my friend...
7. ## simulation

Hi, i get some troubles with my simulation, iwant to simulate three magnets blocks made of Neodimium, two are fixed and the other one is located 200mm under, between the blocks i have been create a block who simulate a region of the air (gap), between blocks. i made a mechanical set for the blocks, one is fixed for the two first blocks, other is compressible for the gap block, and traslation along one axis, for the block who have to move near to the fixed blocks, also made a infinite box with a set up as set mechanical fixed. i made the mesh and i defined the geometric parameter with the width from the gap block, try to run the simulation but the output shows me this sentence.... "The sliding surface of the mechanical set MOVIL is incoherent with the direction of the translation movement Concerned face(s) : 22 A compressible mechanical set must separate fixed and moving mechanical setsImpossible to solve problem".... i changed the direcction and try to run again but shows me the same error but this time with two new faces...i really appreciate who can give some help, i´m a begginer wiht this software and i really don´t know, what can i do to fix the simulation.. I attached the file in case to someone wants to look at it....by the way i made the file in flux 12.3.1 thank you ... TRY_2_3D.FLU.rar
8. ## SIMULATION TROUBLE

Hello, everybody, i´d like to ask something about the recommendation that you gave me a few days ago, if you remenber the simulation it is about the three blocks made of Neodymium BMT_N52, two blocks are fixed and the third one is located about 200mm down, the third block it gonna move along until is near to the others (+- 1 mm). for made this model i create a 2d sketch, just like explain before in the file attach. I made the regions advised, but when i goint to run the simulation the uotput shows me this message. "Begin of physical check ... The parameter H of scenario SCENARIO_1 is defined as geometric parameter whereas it does not modify the geometry. *** Please, use a I/O parameter to control a scenario parameter describing the physics. *** End of physical check. The parameter H of scenario SCENARIO_1 is defined as geometric parameter whereas it does not modify the geometry. *** Please, use a I/O parameter to control a scenario parameter describing the physics. ***Impossible to solve problem". what i have to do to fix this case. I attach the file this made in "flux 12.3.1". thank you for any kind of suggestion who make me solve this... TRY_4_3D_HELP.FLU.rar

10. ## Problems with my simulation

thank you, i really appreciatte what are you doing for me...thank alot But when i try to open the file the supervisor screen tells me that this file is (Current FLUX3D project generated by a newer FLUX3D version impossible to open the project), i have flux 12.3.1 version... But you gave me some ideas and i gonna apply them
11. ## Problems with my simulation

Hello, to everyone i´d like to ask somenthing about a simulation that i´m doing, i have three blocks made of Neodimium BMT_N-52, the situation is this, two blocks are right beside each other, the third block is at 200mm down, what i want to simulate is what happen when the trird block is almost near to the others, about 1mm, because i want to know the atraccion force, because i have to located this blocks of magnets insede of a structure and this structure have to resist the stress without considerable deformation. but i have a problem with this, and i need some help, because i have to run with this because i run out of time, i really appreciate who can give me a hand...i attach the steps that i made in the simulation.... tank you ... 12. ## Flux Problems

well, in this moment, let´s say the problem is fixed, because i had to re-install the software again, but the problem still remain because when the windows update again, i am sure what the problem is goin to be there .. anyway thanks a lot.
13. ## Flux Problems

Hello for everyone, i`d like to ask something about that happens to me lately with Flux 12.3.1. this is the situation every time that my pc down some kind of update the software does`n working well. The only thing that let me do is open the supervisor screen, but when i try to open a file or a some kind of a example in which that i´m working does´n let me open it, i´d like to know, what i have to do. because i had the same problem with SolidWorks 2015, and the problem was an update that´s let open unable the tool box, but that problem is solved... thank you

15. ## need some help

Hello, i appreciate your quikly answer but i have already do what you tell me, and still shows me the error as the matter of fact, i have begin another tutorial and it happens the same thing when i try to build the volumes shows me the same sentence "Some intersections may not have been detected". So if you have another suggestion it is realy welcome, because a don´t know how can i correct this file. thank you...
