  2. Hello, Does anyone know and heard of this type of analysis? This test is performed to simulate the behavior of a wheel when vehicle is drove in shape of figure 8, clockwise, anti-clockwise rounds. If anyone know this, please share me a link of any discussions and guides. thanks,

  6. Hi Pranav, Thank you for your reply. I am using MAT LAW 36 but i want to consider crack/fractures on my analysis. For that I will need the D1, D2 and D3 parameters. Is there any way to calculate those parameters from the Stress-Strain curve? thanks, Irwinp

Hi George, thanks for your reply. i was expecting that the lower the mass, damage should be also less and cracks may not occur since i used only half of the mass from my initial analysis. but the damage/cracks are just the same and occurred in the same time frame. is there anything i need to change in the parameters?
  13. Hi, I am new to HyperWorks. I did a 2 simulation trials for impact using same mesh model, same velocity but with different mass and it gives me same results. The crack propagation came exactly at the same time frame. I was expecting that the lower mass will not give me cracks as compared to the higher mass load. What am I missing here? Does mass have effect if we are using velocity? I used HyperMesh and RADIOSS. thanks,
