  1. Is there any alternatice to that software? I can't seem to get a license for it, and their trial version does not seem to have the option of inputting .fem files.
  2. Hello Everyone, I have produced some lattice optimization results and I was wondering how i can get these lattice geometries into a printable format. The model is quite large with many lattice structures, so any sort of manual process will be infeasible. Thank you!
  3. Hi Prasannak, I solved the issue. Thank you
  4. Hello , I am running a multi-body dynamics analysis with topology optimization and I am getting *** ERROR # 4309 *** DTPL 1 is defined on a ground. I'm not sure what defined on ground means? I can upload the file to a dropbox if you would like.
  5. Hello, When performing topology optimization on a multi body transient dynamic simulation in Optistruct, is the optimization based on the Equivalent static loading method (ESLM)?
  6. Hello, I'm trying to run a dummy seat crash similar to tutorial RD-3150 except my simulation keeps crashing because of this error. I'm using Radioss Block 140, and FOAM_PLAS is the material being used. Basically what is happening is the seat foam starts imploding and then rapidly explodes. Clearly, the seat foam is getting deformed so severely that the it ends up becoming a negative volume. It may also be important to note that this failure does not always occur, only sometimes. I'm wondering why this didn't occur in the tutorial and also wondering how I can fix it? Should I assign a failure criterion to the foam elements so they start getting deleted at higher strains? I've seen similar forum posts on this error and the solution has been to change strain formulation settings but I am not too familiar with these. Thanks.
  7. Hello, I am currently trying to run a crash simulation with a dummy in a chair. However, early on in the simulation the foam on the seat starts to heavily deform and eventually explodes before the crash really happens. The error I got was "Energy Error Limit Reached". Any help would be greatly appreciated.
