  1. Hi every one, How can i account the influence caused by screw preload or adhesive layer between two part built from laminates? Which connector ist usefull? as far as i know, in the simulation of weld bead or screw connection the change of stiffness/damping of Element in their region (weld bead or screw connection) must be considered. How can can get their influence (Changing of Damping) in the modeling? Best Regards

Hi, you (Anton and Atakanerg) mean, that i change the 3D-body (see the data: the composite part consist of red and yellow component) to 2D-body via (for example) mid-surface command, before working with it as composite? another question: how can i account the influence caused by bolt preload or adhesive between laminates? thanks
  3. Hi every body, As you see in Picture 1 one there is one component (consist of 4 sheet and a hollow shaft) that i want connect their sheet with welding together. I've used tool->edge-> Equvalence. i know from tutorial (Kapital Checking and Editing Mesh) that the maximum value used for tolerance without collapsing the elements, must be smaller than minimum length of element. I must mesh the component with 3d tetra-mesh methodes. The min El Size ist 0,38. Therfore i've written in as Tolerance. But the whole of area that connect two sheet with welding were not equivalenced (see picture 2). I have used the bigger amount 0.45. All area are chossed. unfortunately apears following warning by solver nastran and the solver didn't finish the calculations.   5. Hi tinh, Thanks for your Answer. Yes, i've activated dof1-dof6 (RBE2 22560 5031 123456). For each element ist written such error ''USER FATAL MESSAGE 9994 (BULKPM), CTETRA with EID=11950 near line 3417 '' in *.bdf data. additionally theres isn't any amount of Displacement, Stress and Strain in the data. because of huge amount of element i didn't make RBE2 (Indpt-node and their dpt-node) with command 1D -> rigids , but with a special matlab programm. this programm makes MPCs on a Body with *.bdf Format. The Programm hasn't problem. but it makes contact lines between Indp-node and dpt-node as second component. Therefore i've set for that material and Property too. ''misc1'' is Indpt-node and their dpt-node.
  6. Hi, i've analized the Bracket at first with Forces direktly on nodes in the body. Everything was done good and i could see strain and stress in Hyperview. Then i've made a new node at the center of tube and connected it (as independent node) with all nodes in the tube (as dependent node). After that i've set a constant Force on the independent Node.But according to picture ''MPC_Hyperview'' nothing (displacement,stress, etc.) ist presented. Where is my mistake ? as far as i know we use Indpt-node to distribute the force homogen/equal on dpt-nodes.

  8. Hi every body 1- How can i make MPC at 3D arc (between two white node) as you see in the picture. Should i make at first a node at the center of arc and then use the command BCs => creat => constraints ? 2- And how can i get the torsion on the independend node? Best regards MAC
  9. Hi Everybody, i have meshed a assembly of components by means of volume mesh . one component was not meshed. It appears following error "diehedral angle between adjacent face elements too small. 2 failed elemenets saved." . i have changed the size of element, but it was useless. could anybody help me please ?
