  12. hi,I have been doing a simple simulation recently, the material is nonlinear, so the loadstep is set to nonlinear quasi-static analysis, but there is no error when applying a uniform load of 50KN, and there is a mistake when changing to 100KN uniform load. *** ERROR # 4965 *** Maximum number of time increment cutbacks reached, analysis aborted. *** Nonlinear solution failed to converge for Subcase 1 *** I don't know how to solve it,could you give some advices? here is .out file. thank you. bend-100KN_LGDISP.out
  13. Thank you @Rahul R After applying the elastoplastic property, the analysis type is changed to nonlinear quasi-static analysis. Why is the calculation time so long, is my parameter setting wrong? This kind of nonlinear quasi-static due to materials generally needs to set which parameters to improve the calculation efficiency?

Thank you@Ivan, There is still a problem here in the example shared by @Rahul R,In Optistruct, how to set a cylinder created by myself as a rigid body and apply speed, I want to extract the contact force generated during the collision, and the rigid wall inside Optistruct cannot extract the contact force. Or in an explicit nonlinear dynamics analysis, can RW in load steps use other geometry as a rigid wall?   21. Hi, I recently used Optistruct to optimize the design under dynamic loading (collision), but I don't quite understand the optimization principle and process under dynamic collision. For example, I used the maximum displacement of a node as the maximum constraint, and found that the .out file is shown below.There are 20 subcases ,and 20 displacement responses,why? here is .out file.
