  1. Hi,Rahul R,Thank you。 I follow the Hs-1560 tutorial. As in the fourth picture, the required files do not appear. and there is a serious problem. Whenever you click the Directory button in Hyperstudy, the software will crash and exit. I don't know why, is there a tutorial or a case?
  2. Hi I follow the HS-1560 tutorial to learn Hyperstudy step by step. When proceeding to the fourth step Perform the Nominal Run, after executing Evaluate Tasks, I found that the files in the following figure are not generated in the directory. I don't know why?
  3. Hi,Pranav Hari, I want to create a component that uses symmetry mirroring to duplicate element, For example, I want to copy some units from component 1 to component 2, and the copied unit has symmetry with the original unit. Can you achieve this? thank you
  4. Hi,I have a simple question, how can I duplicate the element,? thank you
  5. Hi ,I have a question, In size optimization, how to set the average of the displacements of multiple nodes as design constraints, can optistruct achieve this goal?
  6. Thank you @Ivan I tried Non—linear transient analysis, but it runs very slowly,After running for several hours, there is still no result. I don't know where is wrong.here is .fem file,original_steel_supress.fem. could you check and modify it?thank you by the way,the model you provide amasker_radioss1.hm seems to Incomplete,
  7. I am sorry that 1000KN is not use,I forget to delete it,the useful load is supress load collector, overall 20000N,just one compress case. here is update .fem file
  8. @Rahul R I con't find the latest version,and try many times,but I don't solve it,here is my .fem file
  9. This question needs to be solved urgently. Can you give some suggestions? Thank you
  10. Thanks ,@Ivan How to choose the loadsteps with explicit method,I have never used this method, only related to material nonlinearity, could you give some cases or tutorials?thanks in advance.
  11. Thanks,@Rahul R I try to increase the NCUTS as 10.even 100.It still not work。
  12. hi,I have been doing a simple simulation recently, the material is nonlinear, so the loadstep is set to nonlinear quasi-static analysis, but there is no error when applying a uniform load of 50KN, and there is a mistake when changing to 100KN uniform load. *** ERROR # 4965 *** Maximum number of time increment cutbacks reached, analysis aborted. *** Nonlinear solution failed to converge for Subcase 1 *** I don't know how to solve it,could you give some advices? here is .out file. thank you. bend-100KN_LGDISP.out
  13. Thank you @Rahul R After applying the elastoplastic property, the analysis type is changed to nonlinear quasi-static analysis. Why is the calculation time so long, is my parameter setting wrong? This kind of nonlinear quasi-static due to materials generally needs to set which parameters to improve the calculation efficiency?
  14. Thank you @Rahul R It worked,I want to set contact force(reaction force) as dconstrains, but I don't know how to set response? Is there any related tutorial or example on the official website?
  15. Thank you I don't figure out the what is PARAM LGDISP card,I have deleted the MATS1,and update the displacement load as 0.8mm。the problem is still there the following is .fem file, could you give some advice SPCD_membrance_8mm_disp.fem
  16. Hi, recently i am simulating the beam under three-point bending conditions.I want to apply displacement load on the beam,Thereby obtaining the maximum reaction force。 Taking the thickness of the beam as a design variable, mass as objective。load step is Nonlinear quasi-static analysis...There is a fatal error How to solve this problem? Can Optistruct be optimized in nonlinear quasi-static analysis?
  17. It‘s very grateful, your suggestion is helpful, @Ivan ,@Rahul R There is still a small problem here, which makes me very confused. I originally applied a forced displacement of 80mm in the direction of the dof2 y axis, but the analysis result is that the rigid body has a large displacement along the x-axis direction. I don’t understand what went wrong. here is .fem file , can you give me some suggestion? steel_20KN_SPCD.fem steel_20KN_SPCD.h3d And how to extract the value of specific energy absorption instead of cloud image?
  18. Thank you@Ivan, There is still a problem here in the example shared by @Rahul R,In Optistruct, how to set a cylinder created by myself as a rigid body and apply speed, I want to extract the contact force generated during the collision, and the rigid wall inside Optistruct cannot extract the contact force. Or in an explicit nonlinear dynamics analysis, can RW in load steps use other geometry as a rigid wall? I did a simple example, but there is no contact force in .h3d file, can you check it?thanks in advance following is.fem file plate_yuanzhu_SPCD_PID.fem
  19. Thanks,@Rahul R I am so sorry I don't express it clearly,I want to apply a uniform displacement=80mm to the rigid cylinder in the Y—axis direction winthin 0.2s,like this but I don't know how to make it by Optistruct?
  20. Thanks,@Rahul R I use SPCD card for a simple example,but it doesn't work, I am puzzled why? plate_tension_SPCD.fem
  21. Hi, I recently used Optistruct to optimize the design under dynamic loading (collision), but I don't quite understand the optimization principle and process under dynamic collision. For example, I used the maximum displacement of a node as the maximum constraint, and found that the .out file is shown below. There are 20 subcases ,and 20 displacement responses, why? here is .out file. Is there any related reference tutorial? disp140mm_AMS_OPT.out
  22. Hi,I have a question, In Optistruct, how to apply a displacement load on a cylindrical rigid wall to simulate a three-point bending test like following picture? Thanks in advance。
  23. @Rahul R for example ,in one .out file, show following messages: Subcase Compliance Epsilon 1 1.013027E+06 7.683663E-06 may I get the specific stiffness value like compliance = 1.013027E+06 by Optistruct? or,how to calculate the stiffness value by compliance value? thank you.
  24. Thank you @Rahul R It's helpful, I have another question, how to get stiffness value in the bending case?
