  1. Hi, As shown in the figures, When I export 0000.rad file from .hm file (1st figure) and I import 0000.rad file, Rbody checking is removed and component name is changed(2nd figure). (RBODY -> RigidBody8) Why it happens? If I run this 0000.rad file, is it wrong? Thanks.
  2. Hi, My time data setting is as follows. Time step is 0.001 sec, Time range for analysis is 0~1.5 sec. (=> the number of time data is 1500) I use the 'Freq' and 'FFTmag' function in HyperGraph. The frequency data range is 0~499.51171875Hz and the number of the frequency data is 1024. (I attached the time and frequency files in .csv format.) According to the figure, Time step, Δt= 0.001 -> Bandwidth or Max Freq , F_max = 500Hz the number of time data, N = 1500 -> Spectral line, SL = 750 I think Frequency resolution(Δf) should be F_max / SL = 500/750 = 0.6667Hz. But in my data, frequency resolution is about 0.488Hz. I don't know why. What is the formula of 'Freq' and 'FFTmag' in HyperGraph? Thanks. frequency.csv time.csv
  3. Hi, I want to know the meaning of the data in output file for nonlinear transient analysis. What is the meaning of ' itstp', 'norm(da)', 'noram(u_ref)', 'err_da', 'adjustment'? 'err_da' is error for what? 'itstp' is iteration step? then what is the difference between 'itstp' and 'Iter' ? 'Cutback' means that iteration does not satisfy the convergence criteria? So increment load is changed? In this, what is the meaning of 'Reduce next'?? what should be reduced next? In this, what is the meaning of 'No change' ?? What should be not changed? In this, what is the meaning of 'Enlarge next' ?? What should be enlarged? Thanks
  4. I think there is no way to fix the time step in pdf file. In nonlinear transient analysis, I can control only initial time step size? Thanks.
  5. Hi, My loadstep, TSTEP and NLPARM are as follows In the result, the number of the time data is 432. (Its time step is not 0.0001) I learned that when NLPARM and TSTEP are used together, DT on NLPARM overrides DT on TSTEP. This result is caused by incremental load based approach in OptiStruct? Thanks

  7. I have only one loadstep. FREQ1 is just remaining load collector. The reason about DISP&ACCEL ouput is to see if DISP & ACCEL output comes in .pch files and see them in HyperGraph. But .pch files is not opened in HyperView. Thanks.
  8. Hi, My load step is nonlinear transient and my model contained the contact. Output message is as follows. My model does not have a linear analysis SUBCASE. "the gap/contact behavior depends on the initial open/closed status and does not change." -> It means contact status is not updated. But the status is updated for each iteration in my results. Why does the message appear? is it just only information? Thanks.

Expected INT > 0 or blank, found INTEGER (0). *** ERROR # 1000 *** in the input data: Incorrect data in field # 4. Expected REAL > 0 or blank, found REAL (0). I don't know how to deal with this error. What is the meaing of 'field'? Thanks.
  10. Hi, I want to do 'preloaded nonliear transient analysis'. 'nl_static' is Bolt Pretension analysis. But output is as follows. Nonlinear transient analysis does not support PRELOAD card? Thanks.
  11. Hi, I am looking for the right PRE-PROCESSING TOOL and SOLVER to solve this problem. My problem is attached as a picture. Two plates are spot-welded. I assume top plate is excited by horizontal and vertical harmonic loading. I think Stick-slip phenomena appears due to friction between top plate and bottom plate and Slap phenomena appears due to vertical force. (slap phenomenon will occur in this system when the amplitude of the relative displacement is larger than the natural gap distance between the two plates.) RADIOSS is known as the best structural analysis solver for solving highly nonlinear problems under dynamic load conditions. Is it possible to obtain frequency response function of a system with nonlinear phenomenon by using (Hypermesh or Hypercrach) and RADIOSS ?
