1. ## Normal modes analysis - results

Good night to everybody, I want to know how to obtain modal masses and participation factors for each mode obtained. Also I want to know how I can animate deformations of one mode. Thank you very much and regards, JJJ
2. ## RBE3 elements and boundary conditions

Helo Nantha, Thank you very much, it is what I ned.
3. ## Representation of hole body

Hello, I am modeling 1/4 from a model because of symmetry conditions, but I want to represent the results of hole body. Is it possible in Simlab and in Hypermesh? How can I do that? Thanks in advance.
4. ## RBE3 elements and boundary conditions

Hello, anyone could help me? Thanks.
5. ## 1D and 2D model

Hello: I want to simulate a bus structure, considering not only the structure but also the shell. I have modeled the chassis with 1D elements (beams), and the bodywork with 2D elements (shells). I want to know how I could model the connection between 1D and 2D elements in my model. Thanks in advance.
6. ## RBE3 elements and boundary conditions

Good afternoon, I am simulating a chassis structure, and I want to simulate the posibility that extreme supports can rotate (there is no restriction from wheels, as I send attached the picture. I am thinking into define a node, connect it with the two supports from my chassis, and restrict the dof of the node (X and Y displacements and X and Y rotations in one side, and Y displacements and X and Y rotations on the other side). How can I do that in Simlab? Thanks in advance. Note: X and Y are included on the plane of the drawing.

8. ## Mesh convergence Study with Simlab

Hello, I am very interested on the convergence study option. Could you please share the information, as you comented on the previous message? Regards
9. ## Total load definition

Hello Koushik, Thank you for your reply. I preffer the first option, and I want to know if I need to count the total number of nodes on the surface. On the other hand, how can I create the RBE3 element?
10. ## PROPERTY OPTION DEFINITION (THICKNESS) IN MIDSURFACE COMMAND

Thank you very much. It is just what I want.
11. ## PROPERTY OPTION DEFINITION (THICKNESS) IN MIDSURFACE COMMAND

Hello Koushik, Thanks for your response. I am analyzing a structure (beams and columns), and I transform to shell elements because the model is so big and my computer doesn't calculate... What I want to know if is possible to create automatically the property with the thickness of the profile when you transform the solid into a shell, because it is very useful when you have a model with a lot of beams, such as my situation: other softwares do that. Thanks in advance.
12. ## PROPERTY OPTION DEFINITION (THICKNESS) IN MIDSURFACE COMMAND

Good morning friends, When a solid is converted to shells by the Midsurfaces command, I want to know about the posibility that automatically Hyperworks defines the properties of the new shells created with the value of the thickness equal to the solid thickness. Thanks in advance.
13. ## Total load definition

Hello, I try to define in Hyperworks the total load applied to a face on a 3d model. ¿How can I do that? Thank you very much.
14. ## Total load definition on surface

Hello friends, I need to apply a load on a surface. I know the value of the total load to be distributed. Do you know a way to define that total load? I don´t want to calculate the area of the surface and apply the equivalent pressure. Thanks in advance.
15. ## Hyperworks 2019 - Autocontact

Hello Hyperman, Thank you very much for your quick reply, but I can't find the Auto-Contact option on the Hyperworks 2019 (what you say is for Hypermesh). Anyway, I can't find the Auto-Contact option nor on the Utility Brower nor on the BC/Create/Autocontact as stated on the pdf link that you sent me. Also, when I go to Tools/Contact Browser, I can't find the AutoContact option. Could you please tell me how I can proceed? Thank you very much.
