  2. Hello, I have been using distributed simulations for the last couple of months, and I have never had any problem, until this week. First, I was using the 2018.1 version of FLUX, and as I said, it was all working the right way. On monday, however, it stopped working. A simulation started to run without being distributed even though the scenario had the distributed computing box checked. Just in case, I followed the Distribution Manager Configuration steps again, after deleting all CDE folders from my Temp folder, and as it was still not working, I uninstalled and reinstalled Flux on my computer. The problem still continued, and I requested the newest version of the software, hoping that it would all be right with this one, but no, the problem still exists. I installed Flux2019.0 and the 2019.0.1 HotFix, and runed the Distribution Manager Configuration.   10. I requested that version to the software resource administrators, and I am currently waiting to their response. I am still using version 2017.1. As far as I am concerned, it is suposed that this version allows FLUX to be linked to HyperStudy. I managed to enter the solver script settings, and it seems that there is no solver file specified for FLUX. I have FLUX installed in C:/Program Files/Altair/2018/flux/ Do I need to set the path to a file in the empty dialog?
  11. I just tried to drag and drop the .F2G component from FLUX the same way as the FluxMotor component is in the video, and the same error was shown.

  13. Hello, I want to optimize some parameters of a linear motor with HyperStudy and FLUX. It is the first time that I am using HyperStudy software, so I might be messing up at some point, but, I get the following error when I try to evaluate Tasks in HyperStudy: 30 Error : No path specified for solver ( Flux (HstSolver_Flux) ) It seems that the software is not able to deetect the instalation directory of FLUX. I had it previously installed, and I set up HyperStudy last week. What do I need to do in order to solve this issue? Thanks in advance, Imanol

  15. Hello, Is there any command that clears the output window in FLUX? I want to simulate a parameter sweep with lots of different values for some geometric parameters. I have a script that sets the values of the parameters at each step, then meshes the geometry, simulates the configuration, exports and deletes the results, deletes the mesh, and repeats the process with new values. After several configurations are simulated, the application just crashes completely, and it closes the project without any error message. I have to mention that I am not using any command for closing the project in my script, so it should not happen. As I am not storing the results of the simulation in the RAM memory of my computer, I think that the problem comes when the output window in FLUX displays too many rows. Is there any command to clear the output window? Thanks in advance, Imanol
