We did some study,it uses max core as it is available in the machine, but it default we set it for 4 cores, performance will increases up to 6 cores, and I guess beyond it remain same.   Regards Sourav

i9 with 10 cores, and upto 6 cores the speed will increase, beyond 6 cores, the speed will remain same

I believe he means above 4 core's no considerable performance increase was found..just like convergence study.
So for this application don't waste resources as it will not leverage more tham 4 core's.

Yes correct, all nodes should be less than that temperature.

The 1st question is about the “offset value” when creating the tools.
a.      By default, the offset factor when creating the tool is 1.2 (gap =1.2*blank thickness)

a. 20% offset pattern (total gap will become 1+0.2),
for example, your blank thickness is 1 mm and tool offset is 20% total gap will be blank thickness+20% of blank thickness     =t(1+0.2)
b.      However, sometimes, we are provided with a full set of die tools, including the top die, punch, and binder.
And in the design, the gap is only equal to the blank thickness, for example = 1mm.
So what should we do in this case?
i.     Take their design faces to use as tools, with the gap between die and punch = 1mm
you need a little gap here
ii.     Recreate the punch by offsetting the die face >> gap = 1.2 mm (as above)
this can be done easily using the offset tool.

2.      The 2nd question is about the material density in HyperForm and InspireForm.
Take an example for steel, rho = 7.8e-9 (ton/mm3)
If I use the uniform mesh size (turn off adaptive mesh), the density is remained originally = 7.8e-9 t/mm3
However, when using both InspireForm or HyperForm with the “adaptive mesh = on”,
The rho is increase 10 times >> new rho = 7.8e-8 (t/mm3)

2. Check over the unit consistency and compare the model

1. Its a time between 2 cycles.

2. its 1200 seconds is the total time to reach 673.15k.

Actually in installer we config .xml file, and there we need to increase the thrush hold value , C:\Program Files\Altair\2019.4.2456\InspireCast2019.4.2456Dev\hwx\plugins\freedom\profiles\c2c\config\solverConfig.xml, (you can  change the setting in this file) <param txt="Max num of elements allowed for run" dv="20" id="max_allowed_num_elem_run"/> change the 20 value to your requirements.   I have a question for you Uri: How did you calculate the RAM ?    Thanks

it worked O.K.

Hi Paulo,

I dont think so that's the problem your space in your system is more than sufficient to run this model. When something comes like this next time, just restart the software and reassign the boundary conditions  for your model.

Hi Paulo,

1. We can't control on the meshing.
2. If the parts are duplicate or overlapped, then this kind of error will come, and also check for the parts connectivity
please share that model.
3. Yes the appropriate phase change would be here but this will not affects the calculation

4. Yes It is possible cooler system can increase the calculation time.

you are getting the error because of meshing

1.  Vacuum pressure  is still not supported in the software. 2. You cannot use gravity-tilt process to simulate Centrifugal Casting ( Centrifugal is not supported yet) 3. yes we have planned in 2020 (solver is ready, we need to add in interface), Hopefully by next year we all shall be able to use these commands.      With Kind Regards,

In preference you selected to run at the model location it seems, you can also do one thing, you can change the option in run option in inspire and also in run option in Inspire cast in preference, (try this it will work) if possible send the file  if it doesn't work, we shall check.
