  3. this is the product I have designed in the mold gas exit with dimensions of 0,02mm x 1,5mm as shown in the image below I tried to represent this gas exit with overflows, but I am not sure if it is correct or not.   4. I am finding trouble running the simulation with this part. Due to almost zero thickness in the screw thread region, I set the element size with 0,13 but it keeps running for hours, I left more than 48 hours and it did not completed, actually the bar doesn't change its position. I also tried with element size as 0,3mm and couldn't complete the simulation. I need a small element size like this because the gate point that was defined. Here below in the images are some of the errors I found. I am sending the icast file for your reference. in advance I thank you for your support.   6. Hi Junta, Thank you very much for your reply and for the file. I will check the file yoy've sent righ now. I have tried to run in my computer using the element size of 0,5 it completed the meshing but took a lot of time on the filling calculation. I left the compyer running throughout the night but I was not succeeded. I will try it again today and tell you if worked well. Once more Thank you very much Junta. Regards,
  7. Hi friends, Need some help for to run this simulation. The meshing seems doesn't finish but the bar keep appearing but not progressing. I already checked the instersections and think everything but could'nt find the problem.   9. Hi! I wanted to know how eficiently measure the sizes and volumes of voids results of porosity. I did measured 3 dimensions using MEASURE tool, but could find a way to precisely measure the volume. How can I do that? Thank you in advance. Paulo
  10. How can we undesrtad and find where the conflit of a resource occured. I faced a conflit by using tool extract surface but can`t identify exactly where it is and how to fix it. Please anyone can give me some help? I clearly undesrtand that something went wrong maybe it losted the surface selected earlier but I can`t reselect to fix the error.
  11. Thank you very much for your reply Sourav. I did runned the new simulation. It was exavtly the problem, I restored the defalut setting for locations for calculations and worked normally.   18. Thank you Pau for you reply! So I would say that porosity is not a worry because they are placed just on the filling system as you can see in the image. I'm correct with this conclusion? I'm more worried about the micro-porosity and Nyama results, because i can see a beginning of incidence slicing the bar values when the color start to change from yellow to red (as you can see in the image). In your opinion this result represent a need to change something in the project or it can be considered as insignificant?

Micro-porosity relates to the Niyama and also porosity but I couldn't to evaluate if in this simulation a problem of these mentioned will ocuur.   22. Thank you Sourav for all replies. I did finished the calculation, the simulation worked. I did made sure of the feed system overlap the product and think that this was the factor for the simulation be completed. Solidification process took around 20 minutes. Quite fast. Filling process took something about 5 hours I guess. Delayed a bit but worked. Thank you again for the support.

  24. Apropriated fase change point should be there, right? Can advise?
