  2. Helllo ravi, I am using hm12 may be you are using some lower version. If u didn't get the distributed load, just increase the search radius more or less equal to the distance between the loads that you want to create the distributed load. Regards, Raviteja
  3. Hello Halscheb, Mesh the outer and inner surfaces with same no of elements and also try to match the no of elements with the existing mesh. And then go to > 3D > Solid Map > general give all the parameters like source, destination geometries etc., Give the holes lines as "along geometry", Hex mesh is a bit difficult compared to other mesh types. Try doing it with more number of iterations. Regards Raviteja
  4. Hello ravi, For example consider load is varying from 1N to 10N on a cantilever plate . In that case you have to create two forces of 1N and 10N at the end of the load region. Go to> Analysis> Force> Under Global coordinate system change the load type from "Constant vector" to "Linear interpolation" as shown in the figure 1.bmp. Regards Raviteja

  9. Hi vraeleragon, In Auto mesh keep the mesh type as trias, clik on the arrow next to "First order" will convert it to "second order",.. now mesh your surface. This will create a second order mesh (i.e. Tria6).
  10. Hi Jardel, In the toggle option, just increase the tolerance value and try again.. (Here, Tolerance value defines the maximum distance between the edges)
  11. In HM, Goto > Tools > delete > Elements > by Config (Configuration) > Click on "Config" (will show you all the element configurations) > select Tria3 > the type will be selected automatically as S3 > select entity (will select all the existing tria3 elements) > Delete entity
  12. ok,,.. I think you have generated the Tetra (3D) mesh using Tria (2D) mesh right? If so, You have to delete the Tria elements.
  13. Hi mushi, As of my knowledge you have missed one step after assigning the property. Just try this step > GOTO menu bar > mesh > Assign > Element Type > check 2D&3D >select Tria4 = C3D4 Select all Tetra4 elements Update > Export and check it
  14. Hi Mushi You can use Tools >Organize option to move the elements from one collector to another. Or Press SHIRT+F11,,.. select the elements you wanted to move and specify the destination collector select MOVE I think this will help you

Hi there, How to give output request to find the angular velocity of a link at a certain point in motion view Here I have considered a very simple Slider crank mechanism (see attached image), I was applied a velocity as input on the slider.
