  6. Hi, Anybody know what is the assumption for flux2d in the z-direction (in-and-out the screen). Is the equations are assuming some kind of symmetry in the z-direction? I was thinking something similar to plane strain/plane stress assumptions. Is there a user manual or explanation for me to study about the physics behind flux2d? Jerome.

  8. Yeah, Abdessamed, I understand, but when my compare my flux2d to my 3d. I did the same cross section, same power and frequency. The only thing different is I extrude it. But the temperature I got is like 200 degF which is does not make sense to me and I could think of why is it. Regards, Jerome.

  12. Yeah, I did be able to solve it now. But all the red output messages make me think that something is wrong in the model. By the way, how close the temperature would be if you compare 3D and 2D? Jerome.

  14. Yes, so I did also compare to the flux2d I did with the same cross section. Looks like the predicted temperature is not close. I try to attach but the file is too big, can I have your email address? Regards, Jerome
