  2. Hi, I just wonder is that a quick way to hide the entire volume region during processing? I have try the invisible in the data tree, looks like only works when you at the lines parameter, so hiding the lines one by one will be a pain. Thanks, Jerome.
  3. Good morning, I have a question about how to calculating the efficiency of coil in 2D and 3D model in Altair flux? I think we should start with using the 'compute on physics entity' function to do it but what to use? Active power? or Joule losses? Is that matter for coil and substrate region? Also, for total power of the multiple-turn coil: Total power = total sum of power from all the regions? Should I account the negative and positive sign cancel out each other? Regards, Jerome.

  11. Hi, Anybody know what is the assumption for flux2d in the z-direction (in-and-out the screen). Is the equations are assuming some kind of symmetry in the z-direction? I was thinking something similar to plane strain/plane stress assumptions. Is there a user manual or explanation for me to study about the physics behind flux2d? Jerome.
