Hello, I'm useing Hypermesh for modelling and Optistruct for solving. If I want to solve via the radiobutton: Analysis --> OptiStruct but it just gives me the *.fem file. (Picture below) I can solve via a *.bat file but can't view the results in Hyperview. Only Hyperplay is possible. So I think Hyperview wasn't installed?! But how can I install just hyperview. I installed the edu2017_win64.exe and also got the Altair_lic.dat. I'm using Hyperworks 2017 Student Edition
Hello! I would like to do a full vehicle analysis with the advanced driver (.adl-file). Apparently, I cannot find this option when I'm in Motion View and use the "-> Model -> Assembly Wizzard" command. I tried it with the latest Hyperworks 14 and 2017 version. Does anybody know how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance. Regards, Max
Hello Altair-Forum, it's my first topic in this forum, I really don't know what to do anymore. No matter which model I want to run with Radioss (independent of simulation type, in this case impact tutorial of two tubes), I'm always getting the error message from the picture: **ERROR : CANNOT EXECUTE RADFLEX_2017 OR RADFLEX_2017 NOT FOUND As another topic in this forum suggested, I already tried to find the RADFLEX-file in the hwsolvers folder in my install directory, but I can't find it. OptiStruct-Solvers are still functioning perfectly. I already ran the simulation for the model-document in the attached files a week ago, and it worked out fine. But right now there seems to be this error which I cannot explain to myself. I'm working with HyperWorks 2017 Desktop, a Student Version, since three months. I'm thankful for any help in advance! 02_Pipe_Impact.zip
Hello, I just installed the new 2017 version of HyperMesh. But when I create a model all surfaces appear as blacked out, regardless of the property/component colour(s) that I select. I still have HyperMesh versions 13 and 14 installed on my computer and they do not have this problem. So far I have created: - a surface - a solid - 1D detailed element representation (of a bar) - 2D detailed element representation (of a bar) All of these things appear as blacked out. Computer Model: Asus Pro Operating System and Version: Windows 7 64-bit (6.1, build 7601) Processor Info: Intel i7-4510U CPU @2.00Ghz Total RAM: 8192 MB Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphic Family 1696 MB This is what 1D bars look like when they should be red: Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks, Stephen
