  1. Could someone specify the format for the external ASCII file when loading radiation pattern data into the AR Card in EDITFEKO? I am aware of the documentation but would appreciate a clearer example of the format. Thankyou
  2. Dear everybody, I wanted to ask if it was possible to somehow convert the TFILE output into a format that can be read by a normal editor. This would be helpful for automatically plotting results for instance in matlab and such. The TFILE as it is, is currently only accessable for me using hypergraph.
  3. Hi, I have the problem, that I have some curvout data from LS-Dyna simulations. Hypergraph/Hyperview cannot open or plot the curvout data neither from the binout file nor the Ascii-file. Has anyone used curvout data before? Attached you find a sample of the curvout file. It is very simple, even more simple than most of the other LS-Dyna Ascii-files ... Christian curvout
  4. In my analysis, I observed that, the time variant and non-time variant simulation results are not exactly identical in the entire prediction area (As we would usually expect). I observe sharp differences especially towards the edges of the prediction area. - I tried to view the 4D prediction to confirm whether the models and transmitters are exactly identical. However, my ProMan hanged responding very very slowly. - I also tried to export results and compare, However the time variant simulation's ASCII file is huge (~700-800 MB). This could be because time variant model is exporting data for all time instances. Please advise if there is a way I can find out the reason for differences am observing between time variant and non time variant (exactly identical to time variant) ProMan simulations. One way to understand this is to find out if we can extract data only for the single time instant and/or if we can 3D view to compare the prediction plane (time variant and non time variant simulations) without ProMan hanging. Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks Balaji
  5. I want to export to STL binary, is this possible in hypermesh? I am trying to send an STL file of my model to a friend. When I export it as STL I can't open in other software to see if the file works. These include SolidThinking and even HyperMesh itself!!! When trying to open the STL ascii file in SolidThinking it doesn't work, is this because it's in ascii file? An error file comes up saying "save invalid elements to usermark?". It is quite a large file (8.1MB), is this the problem? Also, I want to export geometry as a STEP file but it can't saying "no geometric entities present for export". Any help is much appriciated
