Hi friend, please help me, i want to calculate the COG (center of gravity) every component, and total COG of the model with summary feature (radioss environtment). But, when i used M-ADV1 (distribute mass) and choose the visualization node. but the COG is affected by the placement of visualization node? even though it used distribute mass (M-ADV 1)? is there a way to model the admass that not affected by the placement of visualization node? so we can get "more real" behaviour of distribute mass? I search in this forum, and found same topic, but there is no solution i think i'm sorry for my bad English Thank you before nb: i attached 2 simplify model (radioss 2017 environtment) all same but the placement of visualization node is not in same place. the COG in summary is totally different CENTER VISUALIZATION.hm SIDE VISUALIZATION.hm
Hello, I would like to know the center of gravity of a set of elements from my model. Currently I only know how to obtain the center of gravity but for the whole model (post--> Summary) But, how can I make this with a SET? thanks in advance.
Hi, is it possible to add the center of gravity and mass moment of inertia as information to the .out file? In my .out file only volume and total mass fo the model are output. Unfortunately - still after thorough checks - there is a mismatch between the volume and total mass which is computed via summary/moment of inertia template and the value in the .out file. That is why I expect a mismatch for the mass moment of inertia and center of gravity as well. Kind regards
