  1. Hello, I am facing a problem while creating a 2D surface mesh in TCL Code in hypermesh. The settings done in "*interactiveremeshsurf" and "set_meshfaceparams" seem to be ignored for all surfaces and overwritten by the settings written the GUI at 2D-->Automesh-->Edge deviation. The code can be seen below: *setedgedensitylinkwithaspectratio -1 *elementorder 2 *startnotehistorystate {Automesh surfaces} *createmark surfaces 1 [lindex $List_OP($i) 0] for { set ii 1} {$ii <=[llength $List_OP($i)-1]} { incr ii} { *appendmark surfaces 1 [lindex $List_OP($i) $ii] } if { 1<=$i && $i<=3 } { # markmask, elementsize, elem_type (0 trias, 3 rtrias) *interactiveremeshsurf 1 0.25 3 3 2 1 0 set i_am 0 foreach Element $List_OP($i) { # index (von 0), elem_type, alg_type, elem_size *set_meshfaceparams $i_am 2 3 3 0 1 0.5 1 0 *automesh $i_am 1 3 incr i_am } *storemeshtodatabase 1 *ameshclearsurface *clearmark surfs 1; *endnotehistorystate {Automesh surfaces} Am I missing some command? Thanks and best regards, Henrik
  2. Hello, I'd like to customize a shortcuts to let me get the function quickly to pick up the nodes attached with line. I just know set the hm_pushpanel {rigids} to the subpanel (1D--> rigids), but what is the related command to let me also include below action? 1) select "multiple nodes" 2) select "calculate node" 3) select "by geoms" 4) select "lines" I try to key hm_pushpanel {rigid} {multiple nodes} {calculate node} {by geoms} {lines}, but it is not workable. Could anyone teach me how to set it?? BTW, does anyone know where I can find the command list in the help document?? Thank you in advance.
  3. Hi there, I have written a .tcl script that can be run in Hyperworks (File>Run>Tcl/Tk scripts)) is there a way such that I can run this script from the command window? I have tried the following: C:/altair/hm/bin/win64/hmbatch.exe -tcl H:/3.Stress/Stress_Strain Processing/animate_one_all_pages_RFaxis.tcl however, this does not seem to work. -tcl <file> must be used with the hmbatch option? Cheers, Rob
  4. Is there any reference where I could find an example / sample usage or atleast what parameters are required to correctly run the hm_setcollector command ? I assume this command sets the current collector ?
  5. Hello, I am trying to write a tcl script for HyperView to run in batch mode. I need to load my model and results. Apply the results to the final increment and then export the model in a TCL script. None of the hypermesh commands are working and I cannot find HyperView TCL commands. Can anyone explain how this is done?
  6. Hi, Is it possible to find all the mesh nodes that lie on a plane (defined by 3 points - A,B,C) through the use of .tcl or command script? Many thanks, Wensong
  7. Hi, I need to use an external python package (openpyxl) to connect FLUX with a data sheet. I installed that package in the FLUX's "lib" folder but when i try to import it in the command prompt zone, an error showing "no module named openpyxl found" appears. How can i install external python package in the correct way? Grazie!
