  1. Is it advisable to use negative diagonal inertial terms in CONM2. It runs with PARAM,NEGMASS,YES. But whether it will have any effect on my modal analysis results.
  2. Hi all guys, I'm modelling a platform with different devices linked to it. I modelled the devices as concentrated masses linked to platform with rbe2 elements. The problem is that, activating Display Element Handles, I can see the element type name (CONM2) but I can't see the mass value of each mass. Is there a way to display, along with the element type name, the associated mass value?? Thank you so much
  3. Hi. I'm working on a vehicle frame. I supposed mechanical connections (between the tubes) as rigid elements (rbe2). But I wanted to take into account the mass of these connections. Rigid elements don't have any mass so I created concentrated mass on the independent nodes. In that way, I thought CONM2 elements were connected to the structure. But, I didn't notice any change on frame behavior (stress and displacement). I tried to add inertia properties (Card Edit>>elements>>Edit>>CONT), but it failed. I'd like to add masses that are taken into account in the post processing results... Thank you in advance
  4. Hi, I want to query CID value (syscol ID) for CONM2 elements from elem card image. What should be the dataname for CID value if I have to query using hm_getvalue API? Thanks, Roshan
