  1. Hi Yesterday, I have tried to determine the reaction force of the beam by applying the impact load (Drop test). I defined the cross sections not only on the beam surface (shell element) but also on the impactor (solid element). After solving, I found that , the cross section on solid element shown the reaction force perfectly but for the shell element, it shown the worst result (oscillation) and magnitude, These are shown as picture below, How can I determine the normal reaction force on the shell element by using cross section.   3. Having trouble matching the area product of inertia calculation in hyperbeam for a tube section with rounded corners on two opposing corners. I have built this section with the shell and solid section methods and both give me a different result than what I have calculated by hand with the exact geometry.   5. Hello, I have a bunch of section cut outputs (created using Isave flag = 2 in the cross section collector) stored in SC files. Is there anyway to open and read the data written in these files? Similar to how time history files can be opened in Hypergraph to plot the data stored in them. I have some errors in my sub-model that are definitely caused by my SC files. I have eliminated other potential sources of error to the best of my knowledge, so being able to "read" the data in the section cut files is essential to debug the sub-model.
