  1. Hi, In current release, we can export forces/moments on weld connections into CSV file. Unfortunately, the exported file is not complet. I asked Altair support to add more infos as : weld length, weld size. So I'am waiting for next release of SimSolid
  2. Submitted by HarryWeatherford on Wed, 06/01/2011 - 21:47 I am new to VisSim. I wish to read data from a csv file into the simulator. The data will be time based and will be used as feedback against the simulator's solution. UDP works easily, but I would like to use files of actual recorded data. What is the easiest way to read csv data files into VisSim to compare with the simulation results?
  3. Hello everyone, I might need some help importing a CSV table into Altair HyperWorks (Student Edition 2019). The option to import a CSV table under "File > Import > Table CSV" is greyed out and can not be selected. According to Knowledge Base Document #152766 this should be a simple process. Am I missing something here, do I need to change a setting first or is it not possible to import CSV tables in the student version of this program? Thanks for the help!
  4. I have a CSV File which looks like the picture. I have to move the element from an old part id to a new part id. I have to change more than 50 element's part id. 6. Hi, I have a .csv file with nodes coordinates and forces (x,y,z,Fx,Fy,Fz) that I need to import in HM. I found 2 solutions: Use Field > realize BCs > Create > Forces > Linear Interpolation Both take the .csv file as an input and apply its forces to the model. What are the differences? What should I use? Thanks for the help!

  10. Hi every one, I have a result of a coordinate of a plate from Hyper mesh and I am wondering how can I integrate it in Feko to do an electromagnetic simulation. For more details: the file is “.csv” one which is the result of a meshing of Hyper mesh of a plate (I can have other extension in Hypermesh output). I thought about a script but I don't know how to write it, maybe it’s already written in the Feko setup file. Thank you for your help. Samir
  11. Hi, I am trying to do a Monte Carlo simulation on my model. I am varying the inputs based on a Normal distribution to see how the output behaves. I need help with 2 things here. 1. Is there a way to automate the execution of the simulation, so that it simulates multiple times (say 1000 times) 2. is it possible to capture the data in a .csv file by appending it, so that i get data from all the simulations, and that it is not overwritten everytime the simulation runs. 12. Hello forum HS-1505: Register a Templex Function in HyperStudy In this Tutorial , tep 5.19 the experimental result file is imported in *.xy format. But I have my experimental result file in *.csv form Problem with importing this is values are not imported as X(frequency) and Y(frf) colums as seen in preview(img2). The actual plot of this values should be as indicated in red line in (compare.pdf) Is there a way to convert csv to .xy format or import it directly in proper columnwise data.Is there way to chk what data is imported. 13. set ft {{"CSV Files" .csv} {"All Files" *}}; set fn [tk_getOpenFile -filetypes $ft]; set fh [open $fn r]; while {![eof $fh]} { gets $fh line; set line [split $line ,]; tk_messageBox -message "Gets = ${line}\nLength = [llength $line]"; } close $fh; -表示イメージ-
