  1. Hi Yesterday, I have tried to determine the reaction force of the beam by applying the impact load (Drop test). I defined the cross sections not only on the beam surface (shell element) but also on the impactor (solid element). After solving, I found that , the cross section on solid element shown the reaction force perfectly but for the shell element, it shown the worst result (oscillation) and magnitude, These are shown as picture below, How can I determine the normal reaction force on the shell element by using cross section.   2. Hi everyone, I'm new to radioss. I'm trying to solve an drop test analysis in radios.I have solved this by making a 0.1 mm thickness pad as rigid wall. Nut i could not get reaction force or impact load as result. somewhere in this forum i have read that creating rigidwall using RWALL gives reaction forces on the wall. So i want to ask 2 questions listed them below. Kindly answer them in any way you can. Any help is appreciated 1) Is there some way that i can get reaction forces for the current setup ( pad 0.1 mm as rigidwall) ? if yes, please be kind and let me know how i can do that. 2) If rigidwall (RWALL) is good option, hoiw do I create it? if any of you have any study material or link that you can share, please do. I'm in trouble with this one.

    Drop Test

    Hello, I am working on Drop test. I have followed RD-3597: Cell Phone Drop Test using HyperMesh. But i found my model crossing the RWALL. Please guide me or Plz share finished any drop test .hm file. For verification. Can any one explain what is d in RWALL
  4. Hello, I am working on drop test simulation of bottle with water inside it. I used TYPE 7 contact for SPH and Bottle. Istf=5 , Iadm= 0 , GAPmin = 0.1, INACTI = 6 But still there is no contact between them. Please correct me. drop_0000.rad
