  1. I want to create a model log system that works like this 1. As I run the job, the name, date and path of the input file is located in a master excel file 2. After the job stops running (successfully or with error) the reason for that is also written in the excel file. 3. This way I can track my progress throughout th whole year. I assume it needs some TCL/tk programming in the files that are always called when somebody runs a job. Can anybody provide me with some help or a starting tip? Thanks in advance Adeel
  2. Hi Experts, I want to automate the assembly creation, I can go in 2 ways. 1. Create an assembly hierarchy in excel file and use the script to implement in my hm file. 2. Create a script to create the assembly hierarchy in hm itself using the user input (selecting the sub-assemblies and components together to form an assembly). Which option would be easier and feasible. I am just a beginner in TCL. Thanks in advance!!
VLOOKUP.xlsx ※ファイルのダウンロードには、当フォーラムへのSign up(ユーザー登録)およびSign in(サインイン)が必要です。 VLOOKUP.xlsx
  4. Hi everyone am working in Hypermesh(Aerospace) profile, i want to import load from excel which has nodal coordinates(or Element ID) and XYZ component forces . How to do this?? Thanks.
  5. Hi, i am facing issue in opening excel using twapi reference in tcl/tk in Hm14. It worked in HM13. script: package require twapi set application [::twapi::comobj Excel.Application] set WorkBooks [$application WorkBooks] set WorkBook [$WorkBooks Open "D:/RequiredFiles/Template_Ver_2.0.xlsx"] let me know if anyone has solution. thanks in advance, Kiran
  6. Hello all, I had a look in the forum but I could locate anything specifying the contents or the form of the excel file required in order to import (not export!) the ply layup when creating a laminate in Hypermesh. Could you please provide an example file? Thank you.
  7. Hi all, Can we write tcl variables to a excel file. Thanks , Mahes
  8. Hello, as suggested in another thread in this Forum, i tried the usage of dresp3-Card. What i want to do: - let excel calculate the tresca-stress (Input: max principle, min principle, output: stress (=difference between both input variables). - get the tresca stress back and use it for an "minmax-" or "min-objective" in optimisation What i wrote until today: LOADLIB DRESP3 GR01 tresca.xlsx $solid DRESP1 1 MAX_PR1 STRESS PSOLID SMAP DRESP1 1 MAX_PR3 STRESS PSOLID SMIP DRESP3 20 TRESCA GR01 MYFUNC 1 2 + DRESP1 1 2 + CELLIN C2 C3 + CELOUT D1 I also use a small excel-file, which calculates the difference beween "cell C2" and "cell C3" in "cell D1". Questions: - would it work like that ? (I can't test it at the moment) - What do I get with the DRESP1 / DRESP3 ? When using DRESP1 with "ELEM" and enter an element-ID, it would give ONE value to the excel-file, which seems to be pretty clear. But when I use PSOLID as the PTYPE, there might be hundrets or thousands of values (here: principal stresses). At that point I do not understand my own programmed code.. Maybe someone can help? I read the Tutorial OS-4095 and also a lot of manual pages. Thanks a lot
