Hello, I am using hyperform to evaluate the springback compensation of a component. I need to add a new material in the hyperform database to run the simulation. I created a notepad file with the material properties and saved it in the installed path of the hyperform in the respective material folder. The name of the material which I added is displayed in the software while creating parameters for the simulation. But the properties of the materials are not listed. I tried with the following extension files - .rad and .txt and .wri. But I could not choose the material to run the simulation. May I know the format how to create the notepad file with the material properties and in which format should it be created. Thank you and I kindly request you to help me regarding this issue.
Hello, The situation is as follows:- I solve a model. CASE 1: Load Model: .h3d file Load Results: .h3d file I find everything OK. the results are good. Same Model (Solved File) CASE 2: Load Model: .fem file Load Results: .h3d file Results very different from the initial results.(Magnitude of results are very very less). Now i am doing this because i have created a few sets in my model which .h3d file won't read. Then i checked my fem file and it has details of all my element sets created. So i run .fem file along with .h3d file. I get all my sets as created in hypermesh but results would significantly differ. Can anyone help me in resolving this issue. Thank you.
Hello, I am working on my bachelorthesis right now. At my university we use "LMS VirtualLab", which works fine with the Altair PUNCH-File format. In order to get my final results I need to imitate the .pch-file format after doing a fft in Matlab on my results (which were calculated by RecurDyn). I achieved to get a file format that looks exactly the same as the one that can be written from HyperWorks. Still it does only work with LMS VirtualLab if I open it in "Notepad++" and save it with a different name, without changing anything else. I defined it already to be UTF-8, but it did not solve my Problem. Can anybody tell me what I fail to see? Both files are attached: punch.pch is the file which is not working, punch2.pch is the working one. Kind regards Konstantin Heiss punch.pch punch2.pch
