  2. Hi, I have a Hypermesh model for a wheel. I used RBE3 elements to model the tire and transfer the loads to the wheel. Is there any way of getting an output that gives me the loads in each of the independent nodes connected to the dependent one with the RBE3? I'm running a topology optimization script in Matlab and building the model in Hypermesh, and this would help me a lot (as I wouldn't have to find in Matlab the force for each of the independent node).   3. Hello Everyone, I would like to know what is the difference between Elemental System, Global System, Analysis System. I am interested in this since hypermesh allows to extract (strains,stress,element forces etc) from each of these systems. I regularly use the one that is by default "Element system" but I want to understand what is the difference between them and what can I obtain different of each of them. Thank you for your time!

  5. Hello, I am working on topology optimization of a electric motor bracket / mount for metal additive manufacturing. In the gear train there are two pinions driving a helical gear in the middle. I have defined the location and direction of gear force components (axial, radial and tangential) exerting on the pinions and driven gear as shown in the attached image. As can also be seen from the image there are three forces acting on pinion gear and three forces (in the opposite direction) acting on the driven gear; all of those force components are located at the same point. I would like to connect the three gear force components acting on the pinion gear to its own mounting and fixation holes and other three force components (located in the same point) acting on the driven gear to its fixation holes. Could you be of any help as to how the three force components acting on the pinion can be connected to its own fixation holes and how the other three forces that apply to same point to other fixation holes?   6. Hello , I am doing the structural analysis of the disc and i need to apply forces on a particular area ( where the calliper is attached) again and again with different element sizes. I want to enquire is there a way so that i can simply select the area (maybe a predefined surface or something ) and the software can pick up nodes in that particular area? Thanks

    I try to transfer and interpolat the forces and moments from a coarse model to the submodel by "Fields-->realize". In the coarse model I set ELFORCE and GPFORCE in Globa_outpu_request to *.h3d file. If I try to interpolate the Element Forces (2D) P1 (Major) no Forces were written in the loads. Which Forces do i have to apply it to the submodel?
  8. Hi, I am trying to analyze the contact forces during impact using radioss. Do you have a pictorial representation or any documentation of Normal forces in X, Y, Z, Tangent forces in X,Y,Z and Total Forces in X, Y, Z? I also want to know whether the component of a total force components would be the addition of Normal force vector component and tangent force vector component? I could not find any documentation yet. Please help me out. Thanks
