  1. Hello together, is it possible to define and save a result (graph) in the output response window as a vector with all the given points instead of just evaluate one result for a specific point. For example: I have the given curve as shown in the picture. Now i want to save this curve or graph as a vector or in a similar format. With the tutorials I can only read out one specific value of the curve at one given point. But my aspiration is it to save the whole curve, to display it or use it for a vectorial calculation. Do you have any advise how i can do this with hyperstudy? Is it possible to do this in the define output response window? Thanks in advance and cheers
  2. Dear all. i am new to this forum. Now i am working as a NVH engineer (fresher). i am using Nastran solver to conduct vibration analysis. Myquestion: In frequency response analysis. i usually apply 0hz to 250 hz to the structure and i measure the maximum vonmises stress at each frequency. so is there anyway to plot a graph or track the maximum von mises stress at each frequency. P.S.: 1. live tracking the stress at a same node is easy. (but it will give the stress value at that node for different frequencies.) -> BUT I WANT THE GRAPH like Example: at 1hz - the max stress is 2 Mpa. at 2hz - the max stress is 5 MPa. at 3hz- the max stress is 10Mpa. . . . at 250 - the max stress is -- Mpa. like that ( irrespective of the position , i need only the max stress) is there anyway to plot or track the max stress. please share it with me. (if anyone cant understand my question. please let me know. i will try to explain better or i will give you the input and output files.) thank you. anticipating for the answer.

  4. Hi all, I am using tcl commands for evaluating element quality checks in batch meshing (which are accessible via F10 key in hypermesh interactive mode). The histograms/graphs for element edge max. lengths, element edge min. lengths, and element aspect ratios can be created using the commands: set aspect_ratio 5 *createmark elements 1 "all" *createmark elements 2 *elementtestaspect elements 1 $aspect_ratio 2 4 2 "Tetra Altitude Aspect" http://www.altairhyperworks.com/hwhelp/Altair/hw12.0/help/hwdref/hwdref.htm?_elementtestaltitudeaspect.htm as explained in the documentation. These commands generated the plots in interactive mode. However in batch meshing via tcl scripts I want to export these graphs, and there is no such "command image" created in command.cmf when I export these graphs in interactive mode, neither such export commands are found in the documentation.   5. Hello! I'm trying to perform an analysis on Opstitruct. On the increment 6, the solver stopped and finished the analysis. But, I request 20 increments. The output file doesn't show me the because of this. There is no error message. In the end there is just a message "Job Completeted" and none message about the convergence of analysis. The program doesn't made the H3D file too. What can i do? Can i continue from the increment 6? Thanks! pinca_imp_aumento diametro pastilha.out

Hello, I am trying to plot force/displacement in HyperStudy and at the moment I can only plot displacement at certain node (N1, N2, N3,....) however I would like to plot using maximum displacement. Can anyone instruct me to how I can output maximum displacement to be able to plot it in HyperStudy? Many thanks, Ahmed
  7. I want to get the following graphs for a specific element or a node: 1. Von Misses stress Vs Time 2. True Strain Vs Time 3. Von Misses stress Vs True Strain Please tell me stepwise answer as I am a beginner with HyperMesh. I think I have to either use Output block or Control card, I don't know which and how to use. Please also tell me how to create the graphs in HyperView or HyperGraph whichever I have to use to get these graphs.
