    Hex mesh

Hı everyone; I want to create a hex mesh. I can say, I examined all the files. I can do for basic beam but I can't for my structure. Can you help me? Thank you.
  2. Hi there, I am working on a knee project and my goal is to mesh the its different parts. As you know different parts of these such as femur, tibia, ACL and etc have really complex geometry. I have gotten the final shape from CT scan files. Right now I need to kind of meshing style. First C3D8 for bones and C3D20 hex mesh for the soft tissues. I can not find a good method to mesh my shapes in Hypermesh in the style that I have attached to this email. Attached is a sample picture of what I want at the end. I would really appreciate if you tell me how I can have such meshing with control on my mesh density by using Hypermesh. Also, I should mentioned that I have worked with shrink wrap. As you know it was not accurate and also it has taken me too many elements that I cannot run such huge number in Abaqus. Thank you for your help Regards; Amir New Picture.jpg.bmp
  3. Sir, Is it possible to combine hex mesh, like we do for 2D elements? In my case, I have a layer of hex mesh, the elements of which have been split (every single element is split across all of its side using 3D>Split>Solid elements (split into hexa)pannel). Now I want to combine pairs of two elements within each layer separately. How is it possible.
  4. Hi All, is it possible to automate hex meshing for leaf spring? regards PD
