    Hello, I created a submodel of a rivet join. The shape of the rivet join looks in all cases equal thats why i already meshed one. I want to transfer displacements from a coarse structural Analysis to this submodel. The Problem: The rivet join of the submodel is not on the same position like in the coarse model. It workes fine with "fields" and Import an .op2 of the coarse analysis, if the Position of the join is equal ( ) but not if the position is different. For example: There are many rivet joins in my coarse model and I want to pick just one to tranfer the displacements arround the join to my submodel. I created a coordinate System in the Center of the rivet join in the coarse model and selected the nodes and assigned it (set reference, set displacement) to the local system. But do I have to do any settings that the desplacements and rotations are refert to the local System in the Output (.op2) file? Because I Import that via fields.
  2. I have created a series of seperate areas of membrane elements on a standard tet4/tet10 model. I am trying to assign each of them a n individual unique local system so that I can collect data from the nodes/elements in the particular orientations. I thought I had done it, but then the membrane elements all dropped their material properties and the model no longer runs. Can anyone offer me assistance or a walkthrough on how to? Thanks
