  1. Hi there, I am very new to using FEKO, I am trying to calculate the magnetic coupling between two loops. Starting simple and working my way up...... I created two loops, made them into wire, associated a wire port for each and then only applied a voltage source to one and then simulated for the near field. Not sure what else I could have done here, the simulation produces a nice image however I am looking for numbers based answers. The plan to is gradually move the loops apart as well as adding sheet material of different conductivity between to form a study. Any advice would be enormously appreciated!
  2. Submitted by Enric on Thu, 06/02/2011 - 11:18 I have a model I need to run multiple (n=25) times, each time with different "start" values. For every model, the COST function is used to optimise the model such that the model ends when the global optimisation is complete. At the moment, I have the start values in a .csv file in 25 columns which I can access via the Import block. However, as Vissim stops after each model is optimised, to run the multiple models I need to manually tell it which of the models it is to run which involves telling the import function which column to access. Please could you let me know if there is a way of doing two things: 1. Running all 25 models in sequence so I don't need to keep restarting the model myself manually. 2. Exporting data in such a way that at the end of each of the 25 models it saves the data in a separate data file (ie. so I end up with 25 data files). As far as I can see, using the Export block there is no way of setting the data filename automatically. Any guidance would be appreciated. Many thanks

  4. Hi, I have a hm file (or fem) and a TCL script. I want to run my hm file with the tcl script in a loop and output the results so I can analyse all of them. How do I achieve this? Kind Regards, Laurence
  5. Submitted by Joe on Fri, 09/30/2011 - 02:52 I think VisSim doesn’t like the fact that the speed variable, which is downstream from the NOT block, is wrapped around to be one of the inputs before the NOT block. In a strictly digital simulation, this could cause a problem, but even then, you could have examples where outputs are wrapped around to eventually be inputs to a given logic block (e.g., a SR latch). At any rate, if I ignore the warning message, the simulation works just fine. My question is, is there any way to tell VisSim not to display this warning message?
  6. hello, i am new to make scripts. i am trying to do a script to delete empty assemblies and sub assemblies in one action. i need a loop format of script to do this. but i dont know the structure. please help me out.
  7. I would like to make a script loop script for Yes or no to repeat the action. Please help me out
  8. Hi, I'm using LaunchXL-F28069 (Piccolo Series) TI dsp board to develop a inverter. Though it is an inverter my primary application is to used it in rectification mode. To do the synchronization with AC grid I'm trying to use a Phase-lock loop. The tentative control structure is based as follows. I read Va, Vb, Vc voltages from grid. Convert them into alpha-beta using Clark transformation. Transformation was developed using fundamentals. The transformation block in SolidThinking Embed contains only two inputs and it doesn't work in my desing due to imbalance voltage.) Alpha-beta convert to DQ0 quantities. To do this I used fundamental equations and I manually developed a PLL as shown in the attached file. To operate in the rectification mode I need to add an additional phase angle to output theta before generate PWM. However when I powered the inverter there is a phase fault occurs. (High current flow from input (AC) and no current in output (DC) ). I think the problem is with PLL. I'm looking for a good reference of PLL development. Therefore I would like to seek any help from anyone who developed this kind of setup. Thanks
