  1. Hello, I'm using hyperemsh to carry out a dynamic analysis with LS Dyna implicit solver. I'm using Hypermesh 14. I'm trying to do a frequency analysis but I can't find the keyword FREQUENCY_DOMAIN in the solver browser. The version in the LS Dyna user profile is the 8 so there should be the option for frequency domain analysis. Any ideas? Thanks, Stefano
  2. Hello All, I have one rigid component and one elastic component (both are 2D). How can I connect these two components using 1D rigid elements? I am using Hypermesh with LS-Dyna interface. Thank you, Sriram
  3. Hello, I am trying to model elstomeric seismic isolator LS-PrePost. I used 'MAT_SEISMIC_ISOLATOR', 'ELEMENT_BEAM', 'SECTION_BEAM' keywords to create it. As it is described in LS Dyna manual, I chose element formulation option 6 which is discrete beam. My problem is not having control on discrete beam cross section size. I appreciate if someone helps me to solve this problem. Thank you. MAT_SEISMIC_ISOLATOR.pdf
  4. Hi, I wish to export my meshing model from hypermesh to ls prepost. I save the file by Export>Solver Deck>Lsdyna to export the file. However, when I open the file in Ls pre post it didn't read the model. And only nodes were read in offset setting but no the parts/components. There is nothing shown in screen. Can anyone help me? I not sure what I did wrongly. Thanks
