  1. We have found a bug on MacOS 10.15 where the users are unable to select .dat file (license file) to activate their license through the license wizard. The workaround is as follows: Quit Evolve/LicenseWizard Copy the license file to /Applications/Evolve 2017.3.4/Security Rename the copied file as altair_lic.dat Launch Evolve If the problem persists or you are unable to activate your copy of the license, send us a support request here
  2. hello everyone, i want to do an optimization in order to increase the correlation between experimantal results and numerical ones, using MAC cretria, my design variables are the stifness of the damping springs. my size optimization is well set it works but i don't know how can i connect the expermental result that i have in an .UNV file and the numerical results. to say to optistruct i want to increase the mac between the two. i know that i have to use the parameter TRAKMETH MODETRACK MFILTER. but i don't know the right steps to operate this one. if you have some ideas i will be greatful thanks.
  3. I am having problems opening my saved Evolve files. I keep getting the message, The file named____was not found. To try and solve the problem I updated my software to OS X 10.10.4 and installed solidThinking 2015 4945 but the problem still occurs. Is there as special protocol for saving files that I should know about? Can anyone help with this problem? Cheers. Lenin.
  4. hello, i'm trying to do a correlation between experimental results and numérical ones, so for this correlation i am using as a reference file a .UNV ( 164) and for correlation file results extracted from a modale analysis optistruct, so once i clic on load an error message apear it said that '' erreur: missing operand ar_@_ in expression..'' as showing in the picture. i'm sure that the error comes from the unv file. so my question is : is it the unv fomat file ''dataset 164'' that causes this error? if yes what dataset should be used ' dataset 15, 18, 55, 58, 82 or 151? if there is any other suggestion i'm all ears. and thank you in advance for all your replies
  5. hello, im doing a model correlation between an experimental results stocked in a UNV file, and a numerical simulation run using optistruct while loading both results from the UNV file and the h3d i have a message the said << Node block 2411 or 15 or 781 does not exist >>. this error comes from the UNV file and i don't know how to fix it. thank you for your help!
  6. Evolve 2015.4848 will not run on OSX 10.10.3. We are working on this update and will have a service release available as soon as possible. So please wait until the service release is available before updating to 10.10.3. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  7. I'm a newbie to CAD in general, but have been working in Design for many years, and with computers for all of my adult life. In doing research for my first true workstation, I've come across some info that leads me ask the following questions: 1. Is Evolve more efficient with a faster CPU, or with more cores? 2. Can it efficiently make use of the AMD GPUs in the new Mac Pro for rendering, or is it CPU centric? 3. Will 4K monitors cause any known issues? 4. Are there any other items, other than RAM and storage, that I need to be concerned with in configuring a Mac Pro for Evolve? Thanks, Johnny Brewer
  8. Since Evolve 9.0 was released prior to the release of Mountain Lion 10.8 a few issues have been found. We will be releasing an updated version of 9.0 to address these issues. Issue 1 On some Mac's running 10.8 the Evolve 9.0 package is being prevented from installing. In most cases right clicking on the Evolve 9.0 installer, selecting Open, and accepting the warning will allow it to complete the installation. For more information on this click on the link below. http://www.intego.co...-mountain-lion/ Issue 2 The License Wizard will not automatically open. You will need to click on the License Wizard icon and open it manually. Issue 3 The few options that use "check boxes" for selection are not visible. We apologize for the inconvenience. -Darren
