  1. Hi, I have a model with multiple components that shares several materials/properties. I want to know the number of elements associated to each material/property within each component. For example, one component is made of 100 elements which are assigned to 22 different materials. I want to know how many elements within Mat1, Mat2, Mat3, etc. Right now I am doing this manually by isolating each material and counting displayed elements. But this takes long time and very tedious. Is it possible to automate this task by writing a TCL script or exporting a custom output file? It would be very nice if I can get something like: Mat1 Mat2 Mat3 Mat4 Matx Component1 10 9 50 0 XX Component1 15 55 4 22 YY Thanks, Mselim
  2. Hi, I´m modeling an electric machine. Magnetic materials are modeled by means of their measured data, so I am using an isotropic spline to model magnetization curves. I only got partial data: for instance, BH curves measurements performed up to H = 3000 A/m. How does Flux extrapolate the curve behavior for H > 3000 A/m? straight curve with the same slope? Why is this message shown: The final derivative of points defining the spline curve of material ROTOR must be equal to Mu0. The final relative permeability is equal to: 9.9859 Thank you. Best regards

  4. Greetings, I'm thinking about optimizing a 3D-truss structure by Inspire 2017 7305. And I would like to know whether it is possible to program the property of materials. I'd like to design a part of the structure as a tension wire. So, I'd like to define its compression stiffness as zero, and its tension stiffness as non-zero. If it is not possible, I would appreciate if anyone can tell me how to do that (though it may be beyond the scope of this website).
  5. Going to materials in the physics tab i only see the option new b(h) curve. I want to add a new material but the option isn't there. Did i do something wrong in the simulation or maybe have a setting wrong?
