Hello all, I'm doing a motion analysis of a Bicycle frame where I have to analyze a motion of the frame and find the force on suspension entity also to find the displacement of suspension entity. I want the Rod marked near the "1" should move along the curve. I've tried a lot but ended up wrong. Please, provide me with proper guidance. Please check whether the constraints I've given is correct or not... Please, refer the figures below... I want the rod 1 to move along the curve and reach position 2 and comeback the same. Please, help me to select the proper interpolation and Independent variable. Thank you for your valuable time... Fig. 1 Fig. 2 Fig. 3 .
  2. Hi all, I am trying to run a multibody simulation in Motionview. However, I am getting an error which I have never seen before and hence, cannot guess what to do. A snapshot of the error is attached. It goes like "No Element found at line 9". However, my simulation is only with rigid body with contacts, joints etc defined. Has anyone ever experienced such an error? If, yes can you please help me to solve the problem! Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance!
  3. Hello, I have just complete the course on Altair university of Multi Body Simulation and as a practice I am trying analyze the stress distribution on coupled gears. I want to provide angular velocity to one gear and analyze the stress. I did create the flexible bodies , contact and motion but i had an error! Contact graphics undefined for contact force id = 301001! I believe its because i create a rigid to rigid contact between the bodies, later i created the deformable surface and set the contact(Point to deformable surface) but the simulation isnt what i was expecting. Can you tell correct way to analyze the problem? Which step have a gone Wrong?
  4. Hello everyone, Self-piercing riveting is a high-speed single-step technique for joining sheet material. Below is an example of the self-piercing riveting process simulation using AFDEX. The rivet and the two sheets were considered as work piece in the simulation and a binder force was applied on the sheets during the riveting.
