  1. Hi, I have a Hypermesh model for a wheel. I used RBE3 elements to model the tire and transfer the loads to the wheel. Is there any way of getting an output that gives me the loads in each of the independent nodes connected to the dependent one with the RBE3? I'm running a topology optimization script in Matlab and building the model in Hypermesh, and this would help me a lot (as I wouldn't have to find in Matlab the force for each of the independent node). Thanks a lot, Rodrigo Monteiro
  2. Hi, I tried to run the incremental radioss solver. I gave all the parameters and then when I run the solver, I get the following error that 'Restart file 1_0000.0001.rst was not created' and 'Missing normal termination in output file 1_0000.out'. I have attached with the screenshot of the error. Kindly help me in providing a solution as early as possible. Thanks in advance.
  3. Hi everybody I am new with HyperMesh and I've a little problem (maybe very simple) In my first tutorial I imported a geometry but when I launch the simulation it doesn't work and appares a message in the bottom: "Output file not found" (in italian: "File di output non trovato") Can someone help me? Thanks
  4. Hi, First time using HyperMesh and I am following a tutorial for topology optimisation. The tutorial I am following is on pages 25-36 in the link provided. When I click OptiStruct, I do not get a message. When I click view.out, I get a message saying: '.out file does not exist.' Where am I going wrong? Thanks Laurence OptiStruct_11.0_Tutorials_(1).pdf
  5. Hi, Can you kindly help me with evaluating the result file. How do I get the .res files? Or how can I evaluate the results without that file. Also, it would be of great help if you could help me with the procedure for adding or editing the FLC curve (forming limit curve) for the material. The tutorial says it has an option for FLC under the setup tool. But I could not find that option in the setup menu. I am using the Hyperform 2017 version. Kindly help me as soon as possible. Thank you again.
  6. Hi everybody, I am currently working on automating an optimazation process for a composite structure with the Solver OptiStruct and HyperWorks Version 2017.3 . Therefore i need to programm a python script which whom i can get the Normal X and Y Stresses of CSTRESS. What i have tried: I checked the OUTPUT-BOX in LOADSTEPS an then checked CSTRESS. The output format i choosed is PUNCH (its the only one i can read with an normal texteditor, right?). TYPE = ALL; NDIV = 1; OPTION = ALL. After the optimazation i opened the .pch file, but the only stress i can allocated is the von Mises Stress i dont want to know. Can somebody tell me where i can find the Normal Stresses, optional the other Stresses and optional the CSTRAIN and CFAILURE? I thank you in advance.
