  1. Hi, I am trying to do an analysis on a enamelled sheet metal part, it is bimaterial. As initial condition, temperature is 350 celcius degrees and as final condition, temperature is 25 celcius degrees. So, I applied a temperature load. I used MATT1 and entered temperature dependent material properties in TABLEM1 format. I used PCOMP card to model the structure as composite. Materials (Steel and Enamel) are taken as isotropic materials so there is no ply orientation. When I start the analysis with Optistruct, the programme gives the following error message: ERROR 14: Missing property # 2 referenced by CQUAD4 # 1 What can I do to solve this problem?   2. Hello, I have a model that includes PCOMPs and I have already ran the free-sizing optimization. After opening the second file and transforming the derived STACKs and PLYs into PCOMP entities and values, I followed the process as it is described in the tutorial, but after output there exists an error message stating that there is no "T10" field in the property card, which is impossible, because it is included in the output file. I have 6 PCOMP properties with approximately 50 layers each of them. The error message concerns the DVPERL1 card where after 9th layer's thickness there seem to be an unavailability to get the value from the 10th layer. Can you suggest me anything about overcoming this problem? I hope you can answer my question as soon as possible.   3. Hello, I tried to run a job containing PCOMP and a hyperelastic solid modelized with MATHE card. I use a NLSTAT analysis. The run is ok in small displacement but when I use LGDISP I got the following error : *** FATAL ERROR # 3215 *** PCOMP in conjunction with PARAM, LGDISP is not supported. How can I do to perform large displacement analysis with PCOMP and hyperelastic components ? Thank you
  4. Hi, i want to create a Sandwich plate with a honeycomb core, like shown in the attachment. I want to do that with the tool hyperlaminate. My upper and lower plate is normal aluminum createt with the MAT1 Card. But how can to create the honeycomb core? I thought i could make it with the MAT8 Card, but I don´t find any properties for the Input. I took the MAT8 Card, because my moddel is built up with shell elements. Thanks for your help.

  6. Hello, I'm trying to understand the theory behind Optistruct solver, I'm working on composites, I wanna know what is the theory used by optistruct to solve à plate (Laminated) problem? is CLT? FSDT ? and how can we know that and change it if we want? Does this have to do something with PCOMPP? I thank you in advance for your replies.
