  1. Hi everyone, I want to use nonlinear material for my drop test. i have stress - strain curve. i want to know how can this be brought into Radioss ? also I want to have plastic strain among the results , i cannot find strain variable on anim tab . please let me how can i have plastic strain as result.
  2. What is the meaning and significance of Plastic strain (s) and von Mises (t) strain? What is the difference between the two?
  3. Hi, In a drop test, I simulating paper honeycomb behavior between the payload and platform. I tried with Mat Law 2,28 and 68. The strain reported as more than 1. Is it correct?
  4. After tensile test simulation I am getting the value of plastic strain. while stress strain curve also have the value of elastic strain. so how can I plot complete stress strain curve after tensile test simulation.
  5. I have simulated incremental sheet forming process in Hyperworks software and now I am analyzing the results. 1. The issue is that the undeformed portion of the sheet is also showing significant amount of von Mises stress and strain values. Which is absolutely impossible. How come the center undeformed portion of the component is experiencing effective stress and strain. However, there is no plastic strain in that area. Kindly, go through the attached images. 2. Secondly, Plastic strain distribution is correct but it does not sink with the von Mises strain results. What is the difference between the two. 3. Is the values of von Mises strain are in absolute terms or in percentage?
