  1. Hi, is there a way to save the complete data together(including Graphic and CSV data) in the same file. it seems like if i move the Graphic or CSV file, the Motionview file could not detect the data anymore and no graphic or curve is defined in the MDL file. I need to `guide` the directory again to the CAD or CSV file. Thanks in advance. Farris
  2. Hello, I am receiving a error when exporting an Abaqus file. "A segmentation error occurred. Do you want to save your model?" Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  3. I am using Hypermesh 12.0 and have begun recently having an issue with Hypermesh crashing on File/Save after importing geometry from the latest version of ProE (Creo Parametric). I have tried saving immediately after importing the geometry, tried importing IGES and STEP and nothing seems to help. Any suggestions on this would be appreciated.
  4. Hello, I am trying to apply a script in Compose 2017.3, which eliminates some of the variables in the workspace when saving them as a .mat file. In order to test the issue, please load the variables in the attached .mat file in the workspace. When you load the attached .mat file, many variables will be available in the workspace. I would like to save these variables in another .mat file called 'berker4.mat', but I would like to eliminate 'savePath' and 'output_file' variables. In Matlab 2016a, I am using the following command: save('berker4.mat', '-regexp', '^(?!(savePath|output_file)$).', '-v7.3'); This command eliminates the variables I mentioned. When I use the same command in Compose 2017.3, 'berker4.mat' ends up empty. I noticed that 'regexp' is available in Compose. Should I parameterize the variables to be omitted in a different way? I appreciate if you can help me. Thank you Berker Bilgin berker3.mat
  5. Hi , I just want to keep the shortcut for saving the Hm file. For this i prepared this code set hmDatabase [hm_info hmfilename] if {[llength $hmDatabase] == "0"} { set expFileName [tk_getSaveFile -defaultextension ".hm"\ -filetypes {{"HM Database" ".hm"}} -initialfile "ORIGINAL_DATA.hm"\ -title "Save as .hm file"] hm_answernext "yes" catch {*writefile "$expFileName" 1 } set hmDatabase [hm_info hmfilename] } if {[llength $hmDatabase] == "1" } { hm_answernext "yes" *writefile "$hmDatabase" 1 } Then i pasted this code on keyboard shortcuts window on Ctrl + S For the first time it worked in both cases 1. Fresh file ( which will ask the file name & location to Save) 2. Working file ( Which will save on the same file name & location) After some time it is working only on fresh file case. Any suggestions?
  6. Hello, I am trying to overwrite a .mat file. I created a sample script to explain the issue. Please see it below. I create a .mat file called bb.mat with three variables. Then I load the file. I assign new values to the same variable and use the save function to overwrite bb.mat. I don't receive any error. But when I load the bb.mat file, it still has the old values. I also noticed that, I cannot delete the bb.mat file. I receive a warning saying that the file was used by Compose. Could you please let me know how I can overwrite a .mat file? clear all; close all; clc; A=10; B=20; C=30; save('bb.mat', '-v7.3'); clear all; close all; clc; load('bb.mat'); A=25; B=17; C=0; save('bb.mat', '-v7.3'); clear all; close all; clc; load('bb.mat'); Thank you Berker
