  1. hello sir, i am working on the structure project in hyper mesh and solver is optistruct , i need to find the reaction forces for the columns present in the structure so i need your help for solving this problem and can u please guide me how to carry out the reaction force analysis in optistruct. Thanks and Regards Mahantesh
  2. Hello guys, I studding the deformation of a structure (plane) in HyperMesh (with the Optistruct tool ), so after having the deformation in HyperView I want to export is to Feko to do an electromagnetic simulation. How can I do the exportation from HyperView to Feko? And witch extension type of file I have to export from HyperView to Feko to have a geometry in Feko and not a mesh. Here you have the "*.hm" file that I am studying attached. Thank you for your help. Regards, Samir. direct_response_flat_plate.hm
  3. Hello, I have a question about the new function topology optimization with lattice: Can the lattice density be variable? I saw that I can set the bounds of density where to put the lattice structure, but has it all the same structure? or can the lattice structure be variable with the density? Thanks
  4. hello to forum members, Problem encountered by solver: Fatal error encountered. About structure: Stucture - Cross size: 12*12*18 mm material : Ti alloy using MAT1 and MATX Property: PSolid and Psolidx(when using it, error is coming) Load collecter: NLPARM is used MY questions is my way of solving correct? which type of non-linear analysis is required (implicit or explicit) in such structures? what is meant by fatal error occurred and how to remove it? For CTETRA elements, Isolid (in psolidx) is not provided any value. does it means it has to keep off and other parameters such as imsrtr and icpre and iframe has to provide some numerical value? if so then what values should be chosen and why? there is no tutorial for solving such problems with Radioss. hyperworks help is not regularly updated In Matx card, is it necessary to provide values to all the parameters like a, b, c, epsmax, N, sigmax? I am uploading .hm file with the issue. I need sincere assistance as this would help me completing my research work. Thanks and Regardscross_669.hm cross_669.hm

    Import loads?

In SolidThinking Inspire, is there a way to quickly define several loads at a time (for example, by importing an external file)? Or do we really need to define manually each force (or pressure or boundary condition)? I am trying to work on a complexe geometry, introducing loadings through the fastener holes. More than 50 fastener holes i.e. about 4*50 numerical values (magnitude & direction) to enter by-hand...
  6. Hello Guys! I'm trying to perform an Thermal/Structural Analysis in Optistruct. But, I didn't found on tutorials, how can I input some structural loads, like forces, pressures and moments, working together with thermal loads, like heat flux and convection. I wish to learn how can i do this in a Steady-State and Transient Analysis. Would you help me? The model is a brake disc with a brake torque. Thanks in advance!
