    MAT LAW

    I am doing tensile test of an HDPE Plastic material. I have only few material properties such as Young's modulus, Density, tensile strength etc. Which material law can be used in this case? I go through tutorial but I dont have the properties which are used in that tutorial.

Hello everyone, AFDEX MAT is the material identification module which is used for obtaining flow stress information from the load versus elongation data which is got from tensile/compression tests.   9. Hi, I'm looking for a possibility to evaluate tensile test results. That means I have done a tensile test analysis in hyperworks (imposed velocity...) and the same test also on a test bench in reality. So I have the real results (force/displacement diagram, stress/strain diagram) and want to compare the simulation with these results. But I couldn't find a way to do this comparison. Do you have any idea how to handle the simulation results? Maybe create a stress strain or force displacement result in hyper view/hypergraph? Thank you very much for your help!
  10. Hi, I have encountered errors E11, E22, G12 not defined even though I have defined them. My purpose is to produce a stress-strain curve and mesh convergence curve out of the tensile test of 1mm/min rate. Please advice the appropriate solution for me to proceed. CARBON LAMINATES- Tensile.hm
