Submitted by har_varun on Thu, 12/13/2012 - 19:30 Hello, How do I generate a Hall code if my Hall signals are coming from different GPIO pins like GPIO-5,GPIO-19,GPIO-24.. not in a sequential ports GPIO1,2,3... How can I give them to a case block. I see in all the examples they are considering hall signals coming from sequential GPIO pins.. Is there any other ways to get a Hall code if they are coming from different GPIO pins as I mentioned 5,19,24... like that or else how can I use the case block in this case? Please help me. Thanks.

My objective is to get a clean & neat ramp signal & sinusoidal signals at frequencies above 150Hz. This is required for me to get reference currents to do a scalar closed loop control. I need to compare the ADC sampled signals with these reference signals at higher frequencies. I have attached diagram for reference.. Awaiting for some reply... Thanks keerthi

I would like to know if you can build arrays or matrixes with fixed point variables and then use them in a for loop? Basically I want to program the algorithm to invert a 8x8 matriz and then run it in a DSP... And It is not so complicated if it is posible to built fixed point arrays and use for loops If It is posible how do you do? Thanks for your help.

Submitted by Mala Gowda on Mon, 10/29/2012 - 10:57 Hello: I am able to generate a ramp from hall signals and run Open loop FOC but I notice amplitude of currents sensed are not equal in amplitude, there is some imbalance, could be because windings are not balanced. So how could we correct this and operate in closed loop. How can we calibrate the currents before driving into closed loop. In closed loop PWM’s issued by SVM block isn’t good, I could notice DC currents in all the three phases. Please suggest me on this. Regards, MALA

I recently installed the trial version of VISSIM/ECD. I am having two issues: VISSIM/ECD is not finding CCS V3.3 installation. When i compiled F2812 Fullcompare PWM example through code gen tool. it did created the .out file.But when i tried run it on F2812 target.It gives TI Driver Error. Also I didnot find F2812 option in MCU config block. F2812 is working fine with CCS V3.3. Kindly help on these issues.

I can simulate and generate code and it shows off our trajectory generation in a motion servo loop really well. My only problem now is that I would like to enter expressions that use variable names from the VisSim diagram in my parameter setup dialog box instead of just numeric constants. Can I do that? If so, how?

Is there a tutorial or example in VisSim Embedded, that shows how to read 16 individual bits and then combine them into a single variable?
