  1. Submitted by LAVA on Tue, 08/25/2015 - 18:13 Hi I want to use a different SOC for each of my ADC's but when i go to ADC settings i get this (Image attached) I am using F28335 with USBv1 please help me how to debug the same
  2. Submitted by Mala Gowda on Thu, 11/22/2012 - 19:41 Hello: can i please know how to write a hexadecimal number to a hardware register like 1846h, 1946h, 1A46h and 1b46h to hardware register of ADC and read the ADC channel values. Regards, MALA
  3. Submitted by har_varun on Thu, 12/13/2012 - 19:30 Hello, How do I generate a Hall code if my Hall signals are coming from different GPIO pins like GPIO-5,GPIO-19,GPIO-24.. not in a sequential ports GPIO1,2,3... How can I give them to a case block. I see in all the examples they are considering hall signals coming from sequential GPIO pins.. Is there any other ways to get a Hall code if they are coming from different GPIO pins as I mentioned 5,19,24... like that or else how can I use the case block in this case? Please help me. Thanks.
  4. Submitted by Mala Gowda on Tue, 01/22/2013 - 16:51 Hi Anders: i do not see even a single example with CAN, I2C and UART modules configuration, data transmission and reception under piccolo examples. can you please provide one CAN module example with TMS320F28062. i have a problem reading a data. i will be sending in a VisSim diagram with data read format to visSim support team. Looking for reply ASAP. i appreciate your support. Thank you. Regards, MALA
  5. Submitted by Mala Gowda on Thu, 01/24/2013 - 15:50 Hi Anders: How does sampling rate of target interface affect the system performance or CPU utilization and on what basis system properties like start, end and time step has to be set. Regards, MALA
  6. Submitted by keerthi.bhandar... on Sat, 02/23/2013 - 17:40 Hi All, I am unable to generate proper ramp signal & hence proper sinusoidal signal at higher frequencies. My objective is to get a clean & neat ramp signal & sinusoidal signals at frequencies above 150Hz. This is required for me to get reference currents to do a scalar closed loop control. I need to compare the ADC sampled signals with these reference signals at higher frequencies. I have attached diagram for reference.. Awaiting for some reply... Thanks keerthi
  7. Submitted by Mala Gowda on Tue, 01/08/2013 - 13:25 Hi: What is the Q format followed in VisSim 8.0 version with TMS320F28062 piccolo controller selection. how do i know whether fixed point format is enabled or floating point and how to determine the P.u Values based on motor parameters like Ke=28mV/RPM and R=2mOhm. Regards, MALA
  8. Submitted by danilo.llano on Fri, 07/20/2012 - 11:41 Hello everyone, I have a question. I would like to know if you can build arrays or matrixes with fixed point variables and then use them in a for loop? Basically I want to program the algorithm to invert a 8x8 matriz and then run it in a DSP... And It is not so complicated if it is posible to built fixed point arrays and use for loops If It is posible how do you do? Thanks for your help.
  9. Submitted by Mala Gowda on Mon, 10/29/2012 - 10:57 Hello: I am able to generate a ramp from hall signals and run Open loop FOC but I notice amplitude of currents sensed are not equal in amplitude, there is some imbalance, could be because windings are not balanced. So how could we correct this and operate in closed loop. How can we calibrate the currents before driving into closed loop. In closed loop PWM’s issued by SVM block isn’t good, I could notice DC currents in all the three phases. Please suggest me on this. Regards, MALA
  10. Submitted by Joe on Fri, 04/20/2012 - 20:28 Hi I was using Up/Down count and everything was working fine. Then I switched to Up Count but I can not get the expected PWM waveforms on my oscilloscope. Anything wrong? Please help me.
  11. Submitted by nitin_drdo on Mon, 02/11/2013 - 15:32 I am having CCS V3.3 installed on my PC with F2812 board and Spectrum digital XDS510PP emulator. I recently installed the trial version of VISSIM/ECD. I am having two issues: VISSIM/ECD is not finding CCS V3.3 installation. When i compiled F2812 Fullcompare PWM example through code gen tool. it did created the .out file. But when i tried run it on F2812 target. It gives TI Driver Error. Also I didnot find F2812 option in MCU config block. F2812 is working fine with CCS V3.3. Kindly help on these issues.
  12. Submitted by Moha_amayreh on Mon, 10/29/2012 - 04:00 Hi , I am still new in using the vissim software and I have downloaded the trial version and now I am trying to run the 'Blink launchpad F28027' example on my launchpad but it did not work , I think that the problem is with compiling ,but I am not sure, by the way I have code composer studio v5.2 on my pc , I have attached the compiler command file , could any body tell me whether the problem from compilation or not and what would be the solution ,thanks in advance Blink_launchpad_F28027_1.txt
  13. Submitted by Joe on Thu, 02/07/2013 - 23:47 Hi, I am using Vissim ECD and F28027. I want to output a repeating waveform which will has 720 values of pressure. Is i possible to use DAC and output a waveform using Vissim and launchpad F28027. If yes can you please point towards an example.
  14. Submitted by keerthi.bhandar... on Wed, 02/13/2013 - 18:05 Hi All I am able to get sine waveform from ramp and fxsin1.16 block, as i want to get five waveforms which are phase shifted by 72 degrees will it be possible to get five phase shifted waveforms from single ramp and fxsin1.16 block, how to give delay ????
  15. Submitted by Joe on Fri, 02/15/2013 - 21:37 Hi, I've written some custom blocks in VisSim and they work great. I can simulate and generate code and it shows off our trajectory generation in a motion servo loop really well. My only problem now is that I would like to enter expressions that use variable names from the VisSim diagram in my parameter setup dialog box instead of just numeric constants. Can I do that? If so, how?
  16. Submitted by Joe on Thu, 02/21/2013 - 08:09 We are planning on using a 16 bit external A to D converter with the 28335.The A/D converter is a parallel interface. Is there a tutorial or example in VisSim Embedded, that shows how to read 16 individual bits and then combine them into a single variable?
  17. Submitted by LAVA on Mon, 08/24/2015 - 15:14 Hi Can anyone tell me how to configure the ADC of 28335,I want to use 3 ADC's each having a different SOC(Start Of Conversion) Please help
  18. Submitted by keerthi.bhandar... on Thu, 02/14/2013 - 17:32 Hello All, when ever i use to simulate blocks i often get fixed point overflow why i am getting that & how to avoid that ? help me to solve this , as i have attached simulation file of this.
